Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:

It shouldn’t be a surprise to me but I was surprised to learn that I haven’t finished a book since last week! 😂 This is what happens when I spend 90% of my time these days gaming to decompress after work… And on the weekends… And during any free time I have… 😁

That said, I’ve got quite a few reads going on at the minute and I’m not doing a great job of steadily reading them—that said, I am enjoying what I’m reading! 😅 I have struggled a bit with A Rather Vengeful Accord because the world-building is severely lacking, but I’m enjoying it more now than I did even up until yesterday.

• A Rather Vengeful Accord ⇢ 42% ⇢ This has been a slower buddy read but I have to admit that until yesterday, I was toying with the idea of maybe soft DNF-ing. That said, I read a few more chapters yesterday and finally started to feel a pull to it. Knight really throws you into the deep end with this world but that’s coupled with very minimal world-building, which isn’t great, but I’m getting it more now.
• The Library of Amorlin ⇢ 74% ⇢ Things have gotten really intense at this point and it’s making me anxious because I don’t want things to heck up so badly—but things are heckin’ up real bad. 😅 I just need to suck it up, sit with it in one go and just finish it! I don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon because I’ll be leaving to Bali this weekend, but maybe? Who knows!
• Paladin’s Strength ⇢ 14% ⇢ Leslie and I decided to continue with this series because we really enjoyed the first book. Again, I still think Kingfisher can do no wrong and I’m enjoying this immensely. It does feel a little slower in terms of plot because they’re traveling and as the characters even state, nothing bad is happening. Which is good, but is it? 😂 Either way, I’m invested in Istvhan and Clara. Plus, I love the friend dynamic with Galen. So many giggles so far. 🤭

Some buddy reads are coming up that I’m really excited about but let’s see where my mood takes me!
