Happy Monday, book pandas! I hope you’re all doing well. ๐ It’s been a minute right? Well, our mini-hiatus is over and we’re back with new Let’s Talk Bookish topics and a special announcement about how we’re planning to run the meme moving forward!
โจ A Special LTB Announcement โจ
Aria and I have been thinking a lot about this meme lately. LTB is turning seven in August and honestly, we couldn’t be more proud to see how far it’s come! However, running this meme does takeย a lotย of work, and as you might imagine, coming up with 4-5 new and exciting topics each month after such a long period, can sometimes be a struggle. We really appreciate everyone whoย continues to suggest topics though!ย ๐ป
Weย wantย to keep LTB going, but with work for me and school for Aria, we wanted to find a more manageable schedule that also considers the meme’s sustainability. That’s why after some deliberating, we have decided to make a shift from weekly topics to monthly topics per quarter.
That means we’ll be sharing 1-2 monthly topics each quarter (Jan – Mar, Apr – Jun, Jul – Sep, Oct – Dec), with topics being scheduled for the second and fourth (or last) Friday of each month. As always though you’re free to post whenever you want, just don’t forget to link back to one of our blog posts, so that we’ll get notified and can add your post to the topic’s list for others to read. Just to note: if you only tag our homepage, we unfortunately won’t get a ping, so you have to link to one of our blog posts!
We’ll be kicking off the new topic schedule today for June – September 2026โwe decided to include June because even though we’re a little late, we thought there’s still time for one topic at the very least! ๐คญ And that’s it for the announcement! Thanks for sticking around and we hope that, even with this reduced schedule, you’ll continue to join us for these bookish discussions!
What’s Let’s Talk Bookish?
Let’s Talk Bookish is a Friday meme originally created by Rukky @ Eternity Books and co-hosted by Aria @ Book Nook Bits and me (Dini @dinipandareads)! In this bookish discussion meme, bloggers get to discuss certain topics, share opinions, and spread love by visiting each otherโs posts.
Starting from June 2026, monthly topics will be posted on a quarterly basis. You can find an archive of topics HERE!
If you have a topic you’d like to share (even if you don’t join LTB), you can fill in the Google form at the end of this post!

JUNE 2026
June 12: Pride Month Reading ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
Prompts: Happy Pride! ๐ณ๏ธโ๐ What are your favorite books with LGBTQIA+ representation? Are there authors or series you always recommend? What books are on your Pride Month TBR? ย What do you think makes representation feel genuine?
JULY 2026
July 10: Participating in Discussion Posts
Prompts: How do you prepare your posts when youโre writing a discussion postโdo you have an outline or do you usually start writing in advance and work on it slowly over time? Do you prefer to have many prompts (like LTB), or do you prefer one question that you can take in whichever direction you prefer (like Fantasy with Friends by Unbound Pages)? Do you think weekly discussions are better, or quarterly discussions (like Literary Inbox by 24yabookblog)?
AUGUST 2026
August 14: Mental Health and Books (suggested by Lin @ Lin’s Perspective)
Prompts: Are there any books that have helped you during a difficult moment in your life? What books would you deem a must-read-must-have when it comes to mental health awareness? What are your favorite book/s that feature a main character going through a rough patch?
SEPTEMBER 2026
September 11: Digital vs Physical Decluttering
Prompts: How do you manage your digital library (Kindle, Kobo, etc.)โdo you delete books you won’t read, or do you let them pile up? Do you feel less guilty about owning too many digital books versus physical ones? Which is harder to let go of: a well-loved physical book or a purchased e-book?

Ideas Submission
If you have any ideas or suggestions for LTB topics, we’d love to hear from you! โฌ๏ธ

That’s it for the June – September 2026 topics! Thanks for being patient with us and for sticking around for all these years! We hope to see you continue joining the discussions and don’t forget to link back to one of our blog posts so we get notified when you post. Take care, friends! ๐

These look like good prompts and since there are fewer of them maybe I can participate more consistently!

I love the new format!! With how busy my work life can be, I get sad when I can’t participate every week, especially when I want to talk about all of the prompts. Hopefully this will also help you not feel so stressed about it! ๐
