We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

It’s Sunday evening already and I haven’t had the time to sit down with a book yet today and I’m not sure if I will round off my evening with one either! If I do, I’ll probably pick up A Drop of Corruption just as I’m getting into bed, as Charlotte and I are continuing our buddy read of the series. 😊 I’m so excited to dive back in!
What book do you have in bed with you this Sunday?

This was a short work week as we’ve had two major public holidays. Thursday was the Balinese Day of Silence, which is something that my family and I participated in because we’re Balinese, and following that was Eid. As a Muslim majority country, Eid is one of the biggest celebrations, so a lot of people have gone back to their hometowns. As a result, the streets of Jakarta have been blissfully car free!
That said, I didn’t leave my house at all for the past three days and it was fantastic! 😂 A lot of extended family have been visiting though as it’s quite rare to get together all at once, and with everyone off from work, there’ve been a lot of family gatherings. Even though it’s nice to see family we don’t meet with often, I’m kinda sad that its been so busy, cos I haven’t had nearly enough time reading and gaming, yet tomorrow is already the last day of the holidays! I’m such an introvert—I’m exhausted and need a break from this break? 🤭

the good kind – the wreckers

I hope everyone’s doing well and treating themselves with care. Have a great week ahead, friends! 💜

I’m not an introvert, but when I have my son and the kids over, I look forward to them going home so I have some “me time”, so I can only imagine how difficult it is for you. Holidays are always so busy. I used to look forward to going back to work to get in a routine. I hope you have a good week, Dini. I’m reading and listening to When All is Said by Anne Griffin. It’s good so far.
