We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.
I’m kicking off this Sunday post with another “I don’t know what I’m reading next” moment because once again, I finished my previous read earlier in the evening, and now I’m in that weird headspace of wanting to pick up something else immediately, but also wanting to linger a bit in the space the previous book left me. Here are a couple of titles that I’m thinking about picking up next:

Have you read any of these (and if so, would you recommend it)? What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

It was a pretty quiet and low-key week. We bid farewell to a colleague who was with us for 6 months and it was bittersweet. She was someone I really clicked with and who made going to the office enjoyable, and she meshed really well with everyone on the team. It was a pleasure to have her around so it’ll be pretty weird to not see her in the office tomorrow. Changes, changes…

Who remembers the movie Coach Carter? This popped up on my music feed last week and I’ve been listening to it non-stop. That was such a good movie.

I hope everyone’s doing well and treating themselves with care. Have a great week ahead, friends! 💜

I have heard good things about KJ Charles and have been meaning to check out one of their books!

I’ve still got so many of their books to check out but I loved The Will Darling Adventures (a historical mystery/MM romance trilogy). So good! 😍

It is sad when the good work friends leave. Boo! I haven’t read any of those books, but The Write Escape is appealing to me.

I started reading The Write Escape last night but found it a bit… Hmm… Maybe I’m not in the right mood 🤭

I own The Yellow Wife and hope to read it sometime in February for Black History month. It’s always tough when a colleague you like leaves for another job or moves etc. I hope you figure out what you want to read next.

I’m also hoping to read it for Black History month, Carla! I hope you enjoy it whenever you get to it 🙂 I’ve only heard great things about it (even though it’s a tough read)! Have a wonderful week ahead.

Most stories dealing with black history are tough reads, unfortunately, Dini.
