We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

I’ve spent the majority of my Sunday sitting in a salon chair continuing Royal Assassin, and I think I’ll spend the rest of my Sunday night with it too! I’ve reached the halfway mark now and this has been a tougher read than the first book, but still good. It’s definitely a book I’m enjoying reading slowly, and what’s even better is how surprisingly easy I’ve been finding it to keep all the characters and events in order, when normally I would’ve forgotten half the details after not picking it up for so long. It’s a win in my book! 😂

The pace at which these days are flying should be illegal! Tomorrow is my last day in the office for 2025 and I feel so unprepared for it? Despite completing a significant amount of work in my last full week at the office last week, I still feel like there’s so much that still needs to be done before I’m done for the year? It’s also shocking to me that Christmas is already next week—how did that happen!? 😅 It’s so silly but for some reason I’m feeling nervous about going on holiday after tomorrow, haha. I also still have things I need to do to prepare for my holiday—buying last minute gifts, getting spruced up for the beach, and getting my nails done for the wedding, but at least I managed to get my hair done today. Why do I feel like the days until Christmas are going to pass by faster than I can say blink? Lol.

But also, I’d just like to wish everyone a good and restful holiday season with your loved ones. I also know it’s not the happiest time for a lot of people and to you know, I send all the hugs. 🫂 Take care everyone!

I’m still dealing with a bit of a sensitive reading mood and it’s still frustrating me, but I’m just kind of rolling with reading and not-reading on and off, lol.

  1. I am glad you made progress with Royal Assassin. Hopefully, now that you’ve passed the halfway mark, it will be easier.

    Tomorrow is also my last day at work before the holidays and it does not feel like it. I hope we can both enjoy the holidays, and that they do not pass too quickly. Have an amazing break from work and enjoy the hoildays❤️

    • Books always move faster after you reach a certain point in it, right? I’m still enjoying this read a lot so I’m also enjoying taking my time with it. I hope your last day at work before the holidays went well, Anna! My last day went so quickly and I can’t believe the work year is already over now 😂 I don’t think it’s quite sunk in yet, haha. I hope you get to enjoy the holidays and that you can read some good books and relax. Have a good one 💜
