I spent most of my day in bed catching up on my Katabasis reading. I can’t believe that we’re already done next week! This chunk that we just read was so intense and my brain was overwhelmed by what it had to process. There is so much to digest in this story! 😂
I do need help deciding what I want to read next though. I’m going to keep my non-fiction audiobook for my commute read, but I want a nighttime read and I can’t decide what to pick up. Has anyone read any of these books? Which would you choose to read? ⬇️
What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?
I almost forgot that it was Sunday today but sadly, another weekend has come and gone. Unlike last week, which I said felt 50 years long, this week passed really quickly! I guess it helped that we had new colleagues join the team, and while I’m shocked that September is practically over now (how?!), I hope next week goes fast. It’s mum’s 70th birthday on Thursday and we’ll be going out to dinner after work. The family chipped in to get her a bag that she’s been wanting for a while and I ordered an earl grey cake to arrive in the morning. I’m excited to have that to look forward to!

I’ve only read Lady’s Knight, but I really enjoyed. I would recommend you read that one next as it is light and funny. After reading something as dark as Katabasis, it would be a fun one to read.

I think the problem is that I’m not quite sure what I’m in the mood for but the thought of all of these kind of felt right. So maybe I’ll try out a few chapters of this and see if it manages to keep my attention 😃 Thanks for the rec!
