Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp [297]

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

I’ll spend the rest of my Sunday night finishing Pitcher Perfect by Tessa Bailey. I got sent an ARC and I completely forgot about it until I got the publication day email (oops, so sorry)! 🫣 Since I’ve been feeling myself slip into a restless funky reading mood, I thought a romance would do the trick and it’s definitely an easy one-sitting read. It’s been a minute since I’ve picked up something by Bailey but I’ve had fun with this!

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

I don’t know about you but this week felt like it was somehow 50 years long. Anyone else experience the same dragging feeling? Monday felt like it went on for months and it really felt like Tuesday repeated itself five times before Wednesday even rolled around. 🤣 LOL, I know I’m being a little overdramatic but let’s just say that I hope the week ahead doesn’t drag! The only positive thing about the last week was that I treated myself to some comfy flannel shorts at UNIQLO and loved the first two that I bought so much that I ended up getting the other three as well. Seriously, they’re so comfy I wish I could go to work in them, haha. I guess it’s time to let go of the other old worn out shorts in my closet now (and happily)! 🤭

ICYMI here’s what I posted this week:

i’ve been obsessed with sabrina carpenter’s latest album. despite the lyrics being a combo of outrageous and depressing, i love how the tracks have such upbeat disco/pop country/bubbly vibes. they’re serious bops and i have been listening to the whole album on repeat! she’s defo got the horny glasses on though, lol.

my man on willpower – sabrina carpenter

I hope everyone’s doing well and treating themselves with care. Have a great week ahead, friends! 💜

    • This is actually the first that I’ve read in the series. I don’t know why I was never really quite interested in these books until this one landed in my inbox, but if I wind up enjoying the ending of this, I might consider picking up the ones before it! I hope you enjoy it 🙂

    • I actually feel like this month has passed the fastest so far this year? But that week in particular was brutal! 🤣 Sadly, weekends always pass so quickly 😦 Lol. I hope that the week’s go by faster for you though!

  1. I enjoy a good romance that I breeze through as well, Dini. I’m working on We All Live Here by JoJo Moyes. I’m not reading much on my cruise. I have to tell you, our waiter is a wonderful young man from Jakarta. We love him.

    • There’s nothing quite like breezing through a romance! Makes me feel so accomplished to finish a book in one sitting, haha. I miss doing that and wish I could do it more often! That’s so awesome that your waiter is from Jakarta 😍 Not sure if you’re still on your cruise, but I hope you’re enjoying it (or if it’s already over, I hope you had an amazing time)!

    • I wasn’t the biggest fan of UNIQLO before because I always found their sizes too small in store but now they have bigger sizes online and I’m finding that I like their clothes a lot more, haha. The new album is SUCH a bop! I can’t stop listening to it 😍 Horny Shakespeare is back and her sass is next level, haha.

    • It’s such a bop. I know a lot of people have been complaining about how it’s so not serious but I love it. She’s sassy, angry, heartbroken but is still having a good time, too. 80s housewife in a sitcom is actually the perfect way to describe the vibe, haha
