Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp [296]

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

I’ll continue to spend the rest of my Sunday night in bed reading This Poison Heart by Kalynn Bayron. I’m reading this with Leslie, Julie, and Ali as part of our Owlcrate group read. I’m enjoying this a lot! The characters are easy to connect with, the magic is interesting, the writing is engaging, and there are many elements being built up that have my interest hooked. I just hope that it follows through until the end because we’ve been let down before and I hope that doesn’t happen!

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

It’s so ironic when I talk about feeling fitter one week and then the next I’m struck down by a migraine that saw me out of work for two days and then I get a sore throat and sniffles when I woke up on Saturday morning. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m glad my migraine didn’t haunt me past Wednesday and for the first time since I bought them, my Loop earplugs came in real handy when I was feeling a bit overstimulated! I’ve felt a bit restless and groggy this weekend though, but other than my stuffed sinus and sore throat, I’m not feeling too bad. The weather has been horrible lately with ridiculously hot humid days followed by torrential downpours in the evening. It’s honestly no wonder a lot of people have been ill! 🤧

ICYMI here’s what I posted this week:

the subway – chappell roan

I hope everyone’s doing well and treating themselves with care. Have a great week ahead, friends! 💜

Please send some rain my way, as my province has been on fire this past month 💀🫣 thanksfully nothing too close to home, but my friend did had to prepare in case she needed to evacuate- the fire beind on the land in fromt of her house.
It’s just been really dry, barely any rain and humidex going up to 43’C! (Thanksfully i escaped a province over.. scoring 34 instead)

    • Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that y’all have been experiencing fires. If I could will it I’d send all the rain your way! Gosh, the temperatures have really been soaring lately! 34°C is already so hot, I can imagine how 43°C would feel so intense. I hope that you and your friend especially stay safe and that the fires don’t spread!
