I’ve spent all of my Sunday in bed with The Butcher’s Masquerade by Matt Dinniman. Leslie and I are continuing our buddy read and needless to say, we’re having a blast. This series is so freaking good—and there’s so much more to it than the outrageous covers and outlandish plot. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this series is fast becoming one of my new all-time faves!

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

Just as I expected it would, this week passed by in a blur! Why did I expect it? Because next week will be a jam packed week at work as we’re hosting a delegation from Bhutan and of course, this past week of final preparations meant a lot of late nights. I even worked all day Saturday on more last minute things! 😭 Other than that though, it was a quiet week. My colleague joined me for a swim session on Friday and it had been years since I actually swam laps, so I’m proud that I managed to swim over 50 (25m pool) in about 35 minutes and I didn’t feel like I was completely dying, lol. 🐼 I definitely want to do that again!
