We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

I’ll be spending my Sunday reading The Raven and the Dove by Kaitlyn Davis. I’m embarrassed to admit that this is one of my oldest overdue ARCs. I’ve been trying to read this for the past… four years and every single time, I could never make it past the first two chapters. It took a few days for me to get past that point this time, but I’ve now made it to 50%! It’s a bit info dumpy and overly-written but otherwise, okay so far.
What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

This week started off with a doctor’s visit where I learned that I’m going through another chronic bronchitis flare up. I admit I haven’t been taking as good care of myself as I probably should’ve (I just really hate going to the doctor), so the bronchi is worse than it would’ve been had I checked in sooner. But long story short, I’m on medication and the mend. I forget how nice it feels to not have a heavy chest. 🫣 Unfortunately, the doctor told me no stressing my lungs for a week, so it was a week of no gym. I have to be honest, I kind of missed going! It was nice to not feel like I was expiring on the treadmill due to breathlessness, but I’ve been feeling bloated all week and it hasn’t been great. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m looking forward to getting back into my exercise routine next week—who am I even?! Haha! 🤣

It was a bit of a slower reading week but I’m still happy with the progress I’ve been making so far this month, plus I’m really enjoying my reads! 🌸

this is a bit of a cheeky fun song!

I hope everyone’s doing well and treating themselves with care. Have a great week ahead, friends! 💜

Hopefully you’ll be well and back to the gym soon. Take care of yourself Dini.

I get that way too about exercising – once you make it a habit, your body really doesn’t want to give it up. That’s actually a good problem! Glad you’re on the mend and hope you can get back to the treadmill soon!

OMG, I feel the same way about needing to get back to the gym. I do NOT like exercising, but I like having done it, if that makes sense. And I’ve been away from the gym for a week because Mr. Wyrm was sick and I wasn’t sure if I was going to get sick, too. (But now he’s better and I’m still not sick, so back to the gym I go!)
I spent my Sunday getting partly caught up on the W&W readalong of Voyage of the Damned. Still have a few chapters to go before I’m on track again, but I’ve made good progress on it!

I’ve had The Raven & the Dove on my TBR for the longest time. I even put it on my wishlist and I still haven’t read it. I hope you feel better soon.
