We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

I’ll spend my Sunday night finishing The Thief of Farrowfell by Ravena Guron. I’m reading this MG fantasy for a blog tour (my spot is tomorrow!) and I’m enjoying it quite a bit. It’s an action-packed fantasy with an interesting magic concept. It’s a bit darker than I expected but I’m curious to see where this series will go. Also, I love the chapter illustrations so much! 😍
What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day to all the mum’s! 🌸
I hope you’re being spoiled with love (today and every day)
Wow, do I feel unfit or what! 😂 I’m not doing overly strenuous workouts at the gym or anything like that. The 12-3-30—no matter how easy it looks on video—is not a simple easy treadmill walk, but also wow, I get so completely winded for doing… Not a whole lot in the grand scheme of gym-ing, lol. That said, I’m proud of myself for going when I say I will and slowly building this routine. I know it’s just week two and I’m glad that I’m not feeling discouraged. I think it really hit home how unfit I’ve left myself get over the last… Many years. I hope I see steady improvement in my fitness as I keep going to the gym (or at least my ability to breathe, even knowing how much chronic bronchitis has damaged my lung capacity, lol)! 😝
On another higher note, it’s a long weekend here as tomorrow is Buddha Day, so Sunday doesn’t feel

I finished another audiobook this past week at the gym and I’m still really enjoying it. I’ve found it helps to listen to stories with fast-paced plots but I’m gonna try to pick up one of the non-fiction audiobooks from my list and see if that’ll still be just as enjoyable.

I tried that 12-3-30 2 years ago to help me get in shape for my 2 Japan trips I took that year and I couldn’t do it. I think I got to 5 or 7 on incline, at 2.5 speed for 30 minutes. But I think that was good for me at the time. Definitely ease into it and I know you’ll get there, it’s always harder in the beginning.

To be honest, I’ve been modifying as well. I’m incredibly unfit and my knees and lower back are already terrible. The speed is doable for me but it’s the incline that usually has me suffering 😂 I tend to start at a lower incline (6) and then work my way up to 12. I think it’s OK—not everyone is the same. I’ve been so inactive for so many years, it’s unrealistic of me to think that I can immediately dive into a routine that goes so hard from the jump! 😂 Easing into it is the way to go (and ice baths, lovely ice baths haha)!

So great that you’re looking ahead at getting healthy and fit and not giving up. I love that song. I actually found the lyrics so I could know what they were singing all the time. Thanks for sharing it, Dini.
