Welp, I’m not actually reading much of anything at the moment. I started This is How You Lose the Time War and realised that nope, with my distracted travel brain now is actually not the right time to be reading this.

With the combination of exhaustion and being out and about all day, I haven’t read anything since coming to Japan, which I guess is to be expected? 😂

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

We’re coming up on our final week in Japan and while part of me is looking forward to sleeping in my own bed again, the bigger part of me is devastated that the trip is already almost over and I have to go back to thinking about work and facing reality again. 🫣 This past week was packed with second-hand bargain hunting, Disney, and the whole reason for this trip: my sister’s Masters graduation! All of it has been so fun but entirely overwhelming too, haha. 🤣

I’m typing this on the one day I’m staying at home and not doing anything because my feet are literally dead. 💀 But I haven’t had much energy today nor have I had the time otherwise to engage as usual. Just one more week away from the blog and then I’m looking forward to coming back and engaging again. Thanks for sticking around during my absence, friends! 💜

  1. I love all the pictures. It is hard to return to real life after a great trip. Tokyo Disney is a bucket list item for me (I would love to visit them all; 3 down!), but I don’t think I could handle that flight. That’s a long time to be in a seat.

  2. I’m loving the photos. You are having a blast and making memories, don’t worry about the reading/blogging. I had the same problem!! haha 😀 I was only able to listen to some books via audio, while putting the kiddos to bed this last week. Otherwise, I didn’t read anything physical. I am glad you are having such a great time!!
