I’ll spend the rest of my Sunday in bed with The Knight and the Butcherbird by Alix E. Harrow. The last time I read a short story by Harrow, it ended up being one of my yearly favourites! I’m keen to experience a new story and world by this author. I also love this cover so much!
What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?
Naturally, the month that I’m going on leave is the month that is going to be the most stressful month of the year. 😂 Lots of things that kept getting pushed from January are finally happening now. So fun. So great. I’m just counting down the days until I leave and thanks to the handy countdown timer below, I know that’s in 11 days! I’m very excited but there’s so much to prepare both at work and on the blog while I’m away and I need to start properly thinking about that. Who else is really good at procrastinating when it comes to travel prep though? Lol, is it just me?
In other news, life has been the same as usual and there’s not much to update. My life is generally boring but y’know what? That’s kinda how I like it, lol. 🤷🏻♀️

Aw, the Harrow short story is an Amazon original. 😦 Guess I won’t be able to read it unless my library system includes these sorts of Amazon-exclusive things in their digital selection.

I’ve been trying to write a comment since you posted this, but my little human is not giving me a break haha! Anyway i get you on the life bit when you postpone things and they catch up eventually, usually at most perfect time when you already have so much going on! Im excited for you and your traverl only 9 days left now, I hope you have a wonderful time worh your family in Japan and ill be looking out for your posts! Happy reading and i hope you can unwind!
