#TopTenTuesday: Delightful Dependable “D’s”

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is a Freebie!

Since today is a freebie I’ve latched on to an easy topic and I’m returning to the alphabet book posts. We’ve reached the D’s (check out A, B, and C) and sadly, my brain just isn’t on enough tonight to come up with a puntastic “D” title so I went for an alliterative D title instead. 🤭 To make things a little bit trickier for myself I decided to spotlight 4-star books that start with the letter D because you know, D is the fourth letter in the alphabet and this is my fourth alphabet post!

  1. For a whole second, I thought I hadn’t read any of these and I was shocked! I have read Daughter of Smoke and Bone (loved), but this was such a different cover!! I didn’t realize what it was at first. haha. I’m glad you enjoyed all these and love this topic!

    • I’ve been feeling the same! I actually got the physical copy with these new covers because I was hoping to re-read them immediately… Now a few years later… They’re still languishing unread 🤣 Maybe 2025 will be the year I finally re-read the series!

  2. I surprisingly really enjoyed Dark Matter (Thrillers aren’t my genre so I was shocked but in a good way)! Daughter of Smoke and Bone and A Dead Djinn in Cairo are both ones I want to read!

    Here’s my TTT 🙂

    • If I can be honest, I thought I gave Dark Matter 5-stars so I was kind of surprised to see I gave it 4 🤣 I do remember enjoying it a whole lot though and it made me want to read more by the author! I hope you enjoy DoSaB and Dead Djinn. I need to read Clark’s full-length novel that follows Dead Djinn and I can’t wait to give it a go!

      • Ahah that’s funny and interesting how we sometimes remember books in a different way than we first experienced them, but at least 4 stars is still a good rating ahah 😀
Thank you so much and I hope you enjoy the full-length novel in that world!
