We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Covers with [Item] on the Cover (You choose the item! It can be anything at all.) The item I’m choosing is HATS!
When I thought about today’s topic I wanted to choose something that kind of still fit the (Western hemisphere’s) autumn vibes. I feel like this is the most random item choice I could pick while still finding a decent number of books to fit the prompt. OK, maybe it’s not really the most random but it is to me cos I don’t generally pay attention to hats, lol. 🧢 So, here are ten books off my TBR that have covers featuring a hat (or two)!

The Christmas Book Hunt
Otherworldly
A Princess for Christmas
The Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louise
The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store

A Holly Jolly Ever After
Boyfriend
A Rogue of One’s Own
Dust Child
Masters in This Hall

Unsurprisingly, I struggled to find many books on my shelves with hats on the cover! Do you think you could find many covers? Have you read any of these titles or are they on your TBR too?

I love how specific you went! XD
Masters in This Hall looks like on for my TBR too.

Haha, it was so specifically random 🤣 I love KJ Charles and I can’t wait to finally read this one 🙂

The Christmas Book Hunt is going immediately on my December TBR! Lol. Great list!

It comes out on December 1st so it’s the perfect time to add it to your list, especially if you’re looking to add shorter titles to it! 😃 I hope you enjoy it!

Hats! What a unique choice. I’ve not read any of these but there are many that look appealing to me.

Thank you! It was a very random pick but I had fun with it 😊

Ooh, this is specific. I so rarely see hats on covers.

I never paid them much attention but I don’t know why I expected to find more than I did 😂

Fun idea! I’d probably struggle to find books on my shelf, too, that have hats on them haha.

Ngl, it took quite a bit of digging to find more and a variety too! 😂

This was so much fun! Random but I love it. I haven’t read any of these books before, but A Rogue of One’s Own has such a gorgeous cover!

Haha, random indeed. Don’t know what made ‘hats’ pop up in my mind! I’m keen to read A Rogue too 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, I love it! I never would have thought to pick hats, but you found a wide variety of them! Hats of all kinds. 🙂

I thought this topic was gonna be a lot easier than it was—apparently I’ve been imagining seeing all the hats on covers when it just isn’t the case… haha 🤣

LOL! I know what you mean, though. Sometimes I see one or two specific covers a lot, and that gives me an inflated idea of how many there are with a specific item or theme.

This is so fun! Everyone is coming up with so many clever objects to feature on this week. I was going to do “houses” and try to make it kind of fit the season (meaning we all probably go visit someone during the holiday season) but didn’t get that one done this week. So many Thanksgiving week. 😉

Haha I do love your choice of hats! Now I’m wondering how many I could find… I think it would be tricky to get to 10 though.

I was honestly surprised that I found 10 once I started searching and realised it wasn’t gonna be as easy as I thought it’d be! 🤣

I’m not sure I’ve ever thought about hats on covers! LOL!! But it feels like they would be common on books set around Christmas or in the summer. From your list, I’ve read Tanner and Louise and enjoyed it. I hope to read A Princess for Christmas this year.

The most I found were in holiday books but someone mentioned how historical fiction lends itself well to hats and I have to agree cos I saw plenty when I went looking deep in my shelves after that comment, lol. 😊 I feel like I’ve had Princess for Christmas on my TBR for… A few years now. I hope we both read it this year and enjoy it too!

Hats is an interesting one. I love all the covers that you have chosen. Ten is such a big number. I had to go quite broad and go for buildings!
Have a great week!

Great idea to focus on a hat to pick up on the cool autumn vibe, though I’m not sure Boyfriend’s hat offers much warmth. lol

Back when I used to live in places with the winter season, getting to wear cute hats was one of my favourite parts of experiencing cold weather. Sometimes it’s the little things 🤭

The cover for otherworldly is stunning and I love how the hat is flying! What a fun item of choice, I don’t typically pay attention to hats on covers either so it’s a nice way to focus on smaller details 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier 🖤!

Yeees, I love how the beanie’s movement reflects what’s happening with the characters on the cover! 😍 I can definitely say this was the most random choice I’ve ever come up with and it was fun to hunt through my shelves for hats 🙂

I think I probably could find quite a few books on my shelves with hats on the cover, because I feel like historical fiction lends itself well to hats, and that’s a genre I really like. I hope you have a wonderful week.
