We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.
I’ve found myself in a suddenly very fickle reading mood. I haven’t continued my buddy read since putting it aside last week, and I haven’t continued the romance fantasy I started either. I’ve picked up multiple books too including titles I started months ago and am so close to finishing. I’ve already finished some titles this weekend and others I’m wondering whether I’m really in the mood for. Not sure what’s going on in my tired brain but my mood has left me with this ongoing pile:

- Anatomy → 65%
- How Not to Drown in A Glass of Water → 73%
- Starling House → 11%
- The Letters We Keep → 11%
- The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry → 12%
What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

The week started off a little rough but smoothed out to a somewhat uneventful if not tiring work week. The biggest highlight was that I got to toy with my new mechanical keyboard which seems to be my newest hobby. 😂 I can’t recall how I got into it but I’ve been watching lots of videos lately and I’ve been keen to try modifying one or two of my own. It’s another hobby that’s not particularly cheap but it’s certainly fun 🙂

I really hope you’re all doing okay and treating yourself with care. Let’s have a great week ahead! 💜

Your weeks are so eventful and you always have things to share, mine are always the same!
You’re almost done with the first two books, you can do it!

I feel like most of the time mine are the same too and I always end up complaining about what a boring or tiring or stressful week it has been. My original draft of this post was exactly that but then I decided to focus on the positive thing that I really enjoyed about the week. 😂 Hopefully I can make it more of a habit! I didn’t end up finishing any of the listed books last night but I did start something else completely different. I think I shall finish How Not to Drown tonight, let’s see.

Maybe we always feel like that when we’re the ones writing, because I like yours and it is interesting to me, so keep it up! It’s nice you did that change then, it kinda forced you to think about the good things about your week a realize it was better than you thought.

Maybe try some shorts/novellas or graphic novels? Though, I have so much love for AJ Fikry. That keyboard is fantastic. So on brand.

I actually have been reading quite a few romance novellas. I should try picking up a graphic novel! I think what I really want is a book that will hit me hard in the feels and have me ugly crying a la Lenni and Margot and Tomorrowx3. I think I need a cathartic reading moment! Haha, do you have any recs? 🙂

You wanna cry? Read the new Sophie Kinsella. It’s more emotional because it’s her own story, you know.
