We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today!

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in bed reading Mirrored Heavens. Becky and I are onto the final book of this series buddy read! Despite starting it on Friday, I haven’t made as much progress as I hoped but I’m loving all the POVs we’re getting and answers! We’re slowly getting answers to things that happened in the past and about the magic! π
What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

I was looking forward to a quiet weekend but it ended up being more eventful than usual (which just means I socialised and got out of the house, LOL)! I spent the weekend with my cousin. Saturday was spent hunting for food places that serve pork which isn’t the easiest food to find when you live in a country with the world’s largest Muslim population! And even though it took us over an hour to reach it, we found a delicious place and followed it up with coffee and ice cream on the way home! We spent most of today looking for and setting up an arm monitor for my desk between rounds of anime watching (we’re watching Re:Zero). I’m glad I can now easily turn my monitor around so I can watch things from my bed but it is also positioned a bit higher than I expected and I can’t seem to make the arm stay down when I lower it. π But overall, I’d say it was a pretty productive weekend!

I haven’t necessarily read more this past week but I did manage to finish a backlist ARC and a few more romances. The ARC was a 5-star prediction for me but I got it so wrong! I thought it was just ok so it’s closer to 2.75 stars and it’s always such a bummer when that happens! π«£ More buddy reads are lined up in the coming week(s) and I’m looking forward to it cos I’ve missed doing them but I also hope they help me find my reading groove again.

I really hope you’re all doing okay and treating yourself with care. Let’s have a great week ahead! π

I will never take my easy access to pork for granted and commend you on driving an hour to get some. Hope it was well worth the trip. Looks good! That is a fancy set up you got there. May you enjoy it!

Yum that looks like lechon (filipino pork) – I LOVE the crispy skin, but I can’t eat much of it now at my age, gives me acid reflux π«!! I hope you enjoyed it!

Omg, I love lechon! I grew up in the Philippines and I miss all the pork dishes. I especially miss crispy pata and I’m so sad that I have yet to find one filipino restaurant in indonesia! π Eating the crispy skin (or just pork in general) is not something I eat a lot either (for the same reasons haha) but I definitely enjoy it a loooot when I do π€€
