I’m spending my Sunday night in bed reading Blood Price. I’ve been excited, and admittedly a bit nervous, to start this because it’s written by the wonderful Nicole Evans, aka Thoughts Stained in Ink. I’m so lucky that I get to read an early copy as part of the tour for Nicole’s debut! 25% in and I’m really enjoying it but I want to throw down for Ashilde so bad. Girl is really going through it and my heart hurts! Have I teared up twice already? YES 😭

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

I’ll be leaving for New York as Monday turns to Tuesday and I’m hoping that I’ll get some sleep on this midnight flight but I’m not looking forward to the longest leg of this flight, which is going to be ~14 hours. 😂 Two things that I am looking forward to once our work is over: watching Wicked on Saturday and going to a shopping outlet on Sunday before we head back to Jakarta on Monday. It’s gonna be an intense week, friends! I’m trying hard to pump myself up even though there’s so much that I feel still needs to be done before we get on this 22-hour flight. I just hope everything goes smoothly when we get there and the event goes off without a hitch. 🤞🏽

I’m trying my best to schedule posts ahead of time for the week ahead and even though I’ve been scheduling posts for the past two weeks, I haven’t been engaging at all—I’m sorry! I’ll have tons to catch up on when I’m back and I look forward to seeing all I’ve missed on everyone’s blogs but thanks for continuing to visit, even as I’m not doing the same. 💜

  2. Nicole wrote a book? How exciting! I wish you safe travels. I think it’s going to be a bit cooler in these parts with a chance of rain. Fingers crossed it is only clear skies when you are not working. Wicked is an amazing show. I hope you have an incredible time!

  4. How cool you’re reading a book by someone you know! Seems like you’re enjoying it, so she will be happy, I’m sure.

    Good luck with work! I cannot imagine taking such a long flight (I don’t like flying) so I wish you safe travels. Maybe you can catch up with some shows or read a bit while on the plane! This work even will soon be over!
