#TopTenTuesday: Don’t “B” A Letdown!

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is actually Books I Wish Had More/Less [Insert Your Concept Here] In Them (for example: more/less romance, more/less world building, less info dumping, more/fewer pages, more character development, fewer characters, fewer descriptions, more suspense, etc.)

But I’m going rogue!

I wish my brain was a little more “on” at the minute but it’s the end of a long work day and we’re just not there. 😅 I’ve decided to continue the “alphabet book challenge” which means we’re on to the “B’s”. This time I’ve also decided to look at books that are on my TBR and that I have high expectations for because of all the amazing things I’ve heard about them. Let’s hope these “B’s” don’t let me down! 🤭

Beach Read
Beartown

Before I Let Go

The Binding

Black Leopard, Red Wolf

Black Sun
Bloodleaf

Blood Heir

The Bone Shard Daughter

The Book Eaters

Have you read any of these books? Did you love them or did these “B’s” let you down?

  1. I hope you enjoy all of these! I think Beach Read is the one novel by Emily Henry I did read. Her cover art is always so fun and cute that it makes you read more about the novel. 🙂

  2. I love the title of the this post! I’m a sucker for a pun. XD
I remember really enjoying Blood Heir. but I never got around to reading the rest of the trilogy. I might have to remedy that now I’m reminded.

  3. I really enjoyed Beach Read and Bear Town and hope you do when you get to them, Dini. I have Book Eaters on my TBR, but haven’t gotten to it yet. The others are new to me, so will check them out. Nice list.

    • I was so ridiculously excited about Beach Read cos it came out on my birthday all those years ago and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it… *years later…* still crickets when it comes to reading it 😂 I hope you enjoy both if you ever get to them though!

    • I KNOW! It’s so well loved and I’m so scared that I won’t enjoy it as much as everyone else but I have a feeling I’ll be kicking myself when I actually pick it up cos “why did I wait so long?!” Like, story of my life for so many books 😂 Haha

      • That is literally the vibe I have for almost any backlist read I read 😅 But I completely get that, I have a few series I feel the same about! I hope you love it but no pressure, obviously!!
