I’ll spend the rest of my Sunday in bed reading Ocean’s Echo by Everina Maxwell. This is the second book set in the same world as Maxwell’s first book which I finished yesterday and loved! I’m enjoying this one a lot too!

But… One of the MCs is a bit of a douche canoe and I’m just trying to understand what happened with him to make him so combative and abrasive. I don’t dislike him but he’s testing my patience a bit! 😂

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

I’ve been feeling a little restless lately. I don’t know if it’s because my brain knows I’ll be on leave for a week from Tuesday onward. I’ll be flying to Bali with my SIL the day after tomorrow and haven’t packed at all (typical, lol). I’m going to get on a call with my sister who’s coming in from Tokyo for the reception and we’re gonna start packing together for motivation.

I’m excited, especially getting to see cousins and family from overseas but I’m also ready to put all this wedding stress (that’s not even mine!) behind me. 😂 I just hope for my brother and SIL’s sakes that all goes smoothly and they have a happy and unforgettable day! In prep for the reception, I went to get my hair done today and coloured it too! It was a little risky knowing I’ve got an event coming up but I think I’m happy with how it turned out!
