#TopTenTuesday: Can we have more books, pls?

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Authors I’d Love a New Book From (These could be authors that have passed away, who have retired from writing, who have inexplicably gone quiet, or who might jut not be able to keep up with how quickly you read their books!)

This wasn’t a topic I was entirely feeling today (and as always, I am doing this very last minute) so I’ve decided to mix the prompt up a bit. I’m sharing six upcoming releases from authors I’ve previously loved and can’t wait to get a copy of. I’m also sharing four authors whose books I love and who I may or may not be working on something new but I’d love to get a book from ASAP! My brain is functioning at low cap today so I hope that made sense 🥲

Upcoming releases I’m so excited about…

Twelfth Knight by Alexene Farol Follmuth (May 2024)
A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston (Jun 2024)
The Undermining of Twyla and Frank by Megan Bannen (Jul 2024)
Do Me A Favor by Cathy Yardley (Jul 2024)
Asking for a Friend by Kara H.L. Chen (Jul 2024)
A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna (Dec 2024)

Authors… Can we have more books, please? 🥹

R.F. Kuang
Fonda Lee
Helen Hoang
Madeline Miller

Have you read any of these authors before? Are you also anticipating any of these titles or wish some of these authors would release more books?

  1. I absolutely cannot wait for The Undermining of Twyla and Frank and A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping… I am here for the cozy romantasy. Also I’m not sure if you’ve seen but both R.F. Kuang and Fonda Lee have announced new books next year so…

  2. I’m SO excited for The Undermining of Twyla & Frank, A Novel Love Story and also A Witch’s Guide To Magical Innkeeping.

I almost put Helen Hoang on my list, she was #11! Another Madeline Miller book would be great too, love her others.

  3. Rebecca Kuang has a new book out next year, Katabasis, which sounds like another dark academia book. I’m looking forward to Twyla and Frank too. I was a bit disappointed with Ashley Postons’ new book but it was still fun.

  4. I’m also excited for Bannen’s book. I hope it’s as good as the first for both of us. I also wish Huang would release another book, but I think her experience with that last one was so bad that she might not. Which is sad.
