We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is April Showers — Pick your own title for this one to reflect the direction you choose to go with this prompt (books with rain on the cover/in the title, that have rainstorms in the story, or that have anything to do with rain)
I never realised how difficult it was to find books with rain on the cover or even in the title but alas, I found out as I was preparing this post today. 😂 I was tempted to go rogue because I couldn’t find 10 titles but I’ve decided to just go for it! So here are the titles that I’ve found with rain on the cover!

Mr Mercedes
The Woman in Cabin 10
The Nightingale
The Places I’ve Cried in Public

Weather Girl
Song of the Forever Rains
First & Then
The Guest List

Do you have a lot of books with rain on the cover or as part of the title? Have you read any of these books or are they on your TBR?

Weather Girl has such a cute cover on it. I went a little rogue this week.

I love the cover and I’ve heard good things about the story too so I can’t wait to check it out 🙂

Song of the Forever Rains made my list this week too! I was a harder prompt than I expected.

It was surprisingly more difficult than expected!

Glad to see I’m not the only one who struggled with this one a bit. :) The Nightingale was one of the few that I could find with a rainy cover.

Same! I can’t believe it was so difficult but we’re not alone in thinking so 🤭

I’ve always loved that cover for First & Then. I never really thought about The Nightingale having rain on the cover, but you’re right that it does. Nice choices today!

It’s a great cover and I totally forgot that book existed at the bottom of my TBR cart until this post 😂 I also only realised the rain on the cover for The Nightingale because of this post!

I couldn’t find books with just rain in the title, either. (I had to add “storm” to mine to find a full ten.) Great choice to include rain on the cover, as well! That added more options for sure.
Thanks for visiting my TTT earlier!

I should’ve done the same but by the time I gave up I’d already spent too long searching my shelves and I got frustrated 😂

That makes sense! Some of these prompts are easier than others.

I love your picks! I loved Mr. Mercedes and completely forgot there’s rain on the cover! (I mean, it’s raining blood, but it’s raining! 😂)

Well, blood that looks like rain… It’s a bit of a stretch but it counts! 😂 Haha

I think a lot of people were struggling with this one today, but you did great. I’ve only read a couple of these: The Nightingale & The Guest List.

Yeah, it seems that many others struggled with the topic, so it’s nice to know it wasn’t just me 😂

You did great with the rainy covers! I started and quickly gave up and changed my topic haha 🙂 I haven’t read any of these yet, but The Guest List is on my TBR.

Haha, I spent too long scouring my physical and digital shelves that when I realised I couldn’t find 10 I was too frustrated to change the topic, haha 😂 I hope we both enjoy The Guest List whenever we get around to reading it!

Weather Girl is on my list as well! This week I diversified my list and included things like umbrellas, rainbows, and puddles.

I was also surprised by how challenging this topic was, but you did great! I love seeing Emma Mills’ book around. I adored her contemporary books

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one. 😂 I still haven’t read Mills’ book but it’s on my TBR cart (has been for a while, admittedly) but I hope to read it this year at least, lol!

It was so hard! I found 4 of those and then was stumped so switched to umbrellas. lol I think you did great though!

Haha, I honestly didn’t think it’d be so hard but after spending a good amount of time scanning my physical shelves and scrolling my digital shelves, I was like nup, I’m too tired to change the topic so we’re sticking to it, LOL. 🤣 I think this might be my first TTT with less than 10 picks!

I didn’t think it would be so hard to find ten books with rain on the cover, but I was sorely mistaken! I’m not familiar with The Places I’ve Cried in Public but it sounds really interesting.

Same here and I was so surprised by that! 😂 Cried in Public was a very emotional and painful but impactful YA contemporary. Very sad (fitting with the drops on the cover)!

The cover of The Places I’ve Cried in Public looks perfect for rainy-themed books.
