#TopTenTuesday: Spring 2024 Possibility Pile

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books on my Spring 2024 TBR.

Hello, friends! I’m finally back from my unintended hiatus and excited to dive into my favourite Top Ten Tuesday weekly meme! As I’m still getting back into the groove of working + blogging, I’m glad this week’s topic is easy. I’ve read very little over the past two weeks but as always, there’s lots I want to read even if I never really know what I’m going to pick up next, lol. On that note, let’s just get to my spring 2024 possibility pile…

To Gaze Upon Wicked Gods
Dragonfruit

Before I Let Go
All My Rage
The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot

The First Binding
Everything I Know About Love
Do Me A Favor
The Waves Take You Home
All About Love

Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR?

    • Thanks, Lydia! 😊 I started it but had to put it down for now cos my mood has been fickle but the writing was a bit too clunky with more telling than showing. I’m gonna finish it though and hopefully when I pick it up again it’ll be better!

  1. I’ll definitely keep my eye out for your review of TO GAZE UPON WICKED GODS…there’s been a lot of buzz about it. I’d already decided to skip it in my book box sub only because I’m not into Antony & Cleopatra retellings, but the drama and mischaracterization surrounding the book makes me want to read it from the library later…

  2. I started To Gaze Upon Wicked Gods last night. It has been good so far. It kind of reminds me of the issues in The Poppy War.

      • haha, Idk!! Yes, omg… I’m nervous! lol I looked it up and it says it’s 832 pages (doable) but the size of the book makes it look like 2,000! haha. I’m going to send you a photo in our chat. I wonder if it’s a font thing.. I’ll have to look.

        • Haha, the more I hear about how chonky it is the more I’m glad I have the ebook (but I’m also curious so send me that photo pls lol) 😂 I ended up getting the audio so I hope that helps! I wonder if it’s a font thing too (I hope for your sake that it’s decent sized font)! 🤞🏽

          • haha! Yeah, it’s not the smallest font so that’s good. I think it’s a thicker paper too. I just read Empire of the Vampire and Empire of the Damned. They were both over 700 pages. The first book is super thick. I got the second one and when it came in, I was like… ohhh this will be quick and about 500 pages. Nope, it was over 700 but thinner paper. LOL

  3. I love your title, Dini. Possibilities is what I should call mine as well. The only one I have read is The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot and I really liked it. I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to read, once you get back to it. Glad you are getting back into the swing of things.

  4. Before I Let Go and All My Rage are both books I want to read someday, as well. I hope you get to pick some of these up this spring and enjoy them, Dini! Happy Reading!

  5. I was so excited for To Gaze Upon the Wicked Gods but then I saw some icky stuff around the author. She doxed some reviewers who left genuine 1 star reviews because she was being 1 star bombed (or so she said). :_:

Dragonfruit has such an interesting cover!
