We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today!

This Sunday I’ve spent my time in bed with Trade Me by Courtney Milan. This author has been on my TBR for a while now but this is my first book by her and so far, it’s a really strong start and I’m so glad to be enjoying this. 😃 I just hope that the feeling endures, lol!
What are you currently reading?

I’m counting down the hours until 12 December is over because I’ll have finished with most of the long late nights fuelled by anxiety and stress. Oh, I can’t wait. It’s so close I can taste it but my stomach is all twisted up in knots for the media engagement event we’re having this coming Tuesday. There are so many political things happening both in Indonesia and globally and the very well-known global organization I work for is not faring well in the eyes of the public right now. I’m writing this as I take a break in my Sunday afternoon before diving back into work. I took a moment for some self-care and got my nails done. I got some festive nails this time and I love them! 😍

Yes, my December reading isn’t going all that well still and I’m sorry to say that my blogging and blog hopping is at an all-time low. I’m still getting some posts out but I’m not engaging at all and it bugs me even though I know everyone understands that sometimes it’s just life. Once this next week is over though I hope I’ll finally have the time and headspace to return to the book blogosphere cos I miss it!
ICYMI here’s what I posted this week:

I really hope you’re all doing okay and treating yourself with care. Let’s have a great week ahead! 💜

Your nails are adorable! I love them! I will be interested in hearing your final thoughts on the book you’re reading. I hope you have a wonderful week.

It started off really strong and I enjoyed it well enough. I’m planning to continue with the rest of the series and read more Courtney Milan books 🙂 Have you read it?

Love the nails! I hope the event goes well. Milan is an author I have seen around, but have yet to read. May this be a great introduction for you

It had a really strong start and the ending wasn’t as strong but I enjoyed it enough to want to continue with the series. She is an author that I haven’t seen much about but she’s quite popular on romancelandia on the bird app 😂

I don’t have the patience or the skill to do it on my own but I do enjoy getting it done! 😃

Dini!! It’s been too long (though that’s my fault, as I’ve been on hiatus and am just now trying to read blogs for the first time in…months; gods, I’ve missed it). I am so sorry to hear work is stressful right now (can definitely relate) BUT it’s almost the 12th and I really hope you get some amazing rest soon!!

Nicole! I totally get it—I’ve been posting but I’ve not been engaging at all and it makes me very sad cos that was my favourite thing about being part of the book community 🥲 I’m so glad my work event is over and I hope I can chill a bit more now. I hope you’re doing well! It’s so nice to get a message from you! 💜

Yep, I feel that 100%!! I am so glad your work event is over and I hope the rest of the year is much calmer (and hopefully the new year can also be calmer, too). It’s so good to hear from you! 🖤
