#TopTenTuesday: September Sapphire Birthstone Covers!

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is actually Secondary/Minor Characters Who Deserve Their Own Book… But I’m going rogue today and I’ve combined the Birthstone Book Covers monthly meme with this week’s list!

It’s been a very long time since I did the Birthstone Book Cover monthly meme but I wasn’t feeling today’s topic and was struggling to find another topic that really pulled me in while still being easy enough to do. Then I remembered I hadn’t done the birthstone covers yet and this is where we’re at! September’s birthstone is the sapphire—a gorgeous, deep and rich blue—so that’s what I tried to find on my covers today. Surprisingly, I struggled to not repeat books from last year’s sapphire cover list! 😂

House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas
The Third Daughter by Adrienne Tooley
Made in Manhattan by Lauren Layne
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandanna
The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen by KJ Charles

Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews
The Indifferent Stars Above by Daniel James Brown
The Wedding by Julie Garwood
Indigo by Beverly Jenkins
The League of Gentlewomen Witches by India Holton

Do you have a lot of books with sapphire covers? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR?

    • I’m reading Irregular Witches right now and I’m loving it. It’s SO sweet 😍 I can’t wait to read Clean Sweep. I really enjoy Andrews’ writing and hadn’t heard about this series until it popped up on my KU. I’m excited to check it out! I hope you enjoy Indigo and League whenever you get to them 🙂

    • I love this colour for books too! I realise I don’t have lots of them with this rich blue. I want to go out and buy this cover for Mandanna’s book cos I have the UK version and while it’s cute, it’s not as nice as this one, IMO. Need to get the physical copy! 😃

  1. Great twist this week! I’m always for combining my tags. 😉 I love sapphire! It always seems like a popular choice for fantasy books. Happy reading this week, Dini!
