Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:
- What did you read last?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?

Since last week I managed to finish reading five books. And I loved all of them! π

Wilderlore: The Accidental Apprentice (Wilderlor #1) by Amanda Foody β
β
β
β
β
A fun, adventure-filled MG fantasy full of wild beasts and wild magic. I wanted a bit more character exploration but the world-building reeled me in and I can’t wait to see where these apprentices go next!
The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston β
β
β
β
β
Everyone told me I would love this and THEY WERE RIGHT. I buddy-read this with Leslie and we both really enjoyed it. It was a little instalove but didn’t bother me at all with how emotionally connected I was to this story. I was sobbing and laughing and oddly comforted. This hit so hard in the best way!
Perfect Match by Eliza McLane β
β
β
β
β
This opposites-attract, instalust, shy nerdy MMC x confident artsy FMC combination was explosive in the best way. I love McLane’s romances so muchβthey’re sexy, empowering, and sweet. [CHECK OUT MY REVIEW!]
First Meet Foul by Jaqueline Snowe β
β
β
β
Β½
As expected, I loved this grumpy x sunshine romance. I loved Lorelei and Luca and their romance was angsty and full of mutual pining, intense and sexy! This was a great slow-burn sports romance. π
The Serpent and the Wings of Night (Crowns of Nyaxia #1) by Carissa Broadbent β
β
β
β
β
I rushed to pick this up and I’m so glad that I did! I had tons of theories and pretty much all of them ended up being wrong π This was a long book and it definitely felt like it at times but I still loved the ride. It’s bloody, brutal, intense and awesome! You know I’ve already got the second book on my Kindle after that ending!

The Dragon Republic
47% β I’m still reading this with Chris, Joanna and Julie β Until yesterday I hadn’t picked this up in a few daysβnot because I’m not loving it but more because I know bad things are coming and I can’t take the agony of knowing, lol. Some of these characters do deserve a good hard shake though!

The magic of β¨mood readingβ¨ means it could be any of these.

What’re you currently reading? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Happy reading, friends! π

I KNEW you were going to love The Dead Romantics and First Meet Foul. I’m glad you did. Such great books. Now, hurry up and read that Liese book!

Omg, Deanna. I loved them both so much especially Dead Romantics! I know I really need to get on reading Liese’ bookβI think this is the first one of hers that I didn’t start reading immediately!? It’s gonna happen soon though, I swear!

I read so much last night that now I’m at 60%. It has been so brutal, and things have gone in ways I did not see coming. I’ve had the same issue as you, though. I’m loving the book but can mostly only handle it in small doses because it is A LOT.

I caught up to 60% after seeing your Wednesday post and OMG, SO MUCH IS HAPPENING??? And I feel like now that we’re past the half-way mark things are going to get even wilder and… It’s… Going to be even MORE brutal and I’m not ready π

I’m so glad we loved Dead Romantics!! I saw so much hype so I was nervous. haha! Oh my gosh… I really want to pick up Serpent and the Wings of Night. I’ve seen it all over!! I think the title is so long tho. haha

Omg, the hype is definitely what made me postpone reading it for so long. I’m glad we started it together π And YES! Serpent and Wings of Night was really good. There were times that the book felt as long as it was and dragged a little but oof, everything I thought would happen really did not, lol. It was fun!

Yeah, I was worried about it because when something gets insanely hyped on tiktok.. it’s a hit or miss for me. I’m glad you enjoyed it though!! I didn’t realize they were so chunky. haha. I hope you like the second one too. I’ve seen mixed reviews on that one!

I LOVED IT, Sam! Omg, all the sobbing I did while reading it was wild! π I’ve read one of her YA fantasies and it didn’t really work for me so I was a bit nervous to start this but now I can’t wait for more from her!

I have only read her YA contemporaries, and they were cute.
