Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:
- What did you read last?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?

Since last week I’ve managed to finish four books. It was a pretty decent reading week although it did feel a bit slow.

(ARC) Take the Lead (Central State #3) by Jaqueline Snowe ★★★★☆
I’ve been looking forward to this friends-to-lovers romance since hints were dropped at the end of book two and it didn’t disappoint. They had such a great friendship and amazing chemistry! Check out my review
Radio Silence by Alice Oseman ★★★☆☆
I read this with Leslie and we were both a little underwhelmed by it. It was enjoyable enough but there was something about it that made it difficult to connect to the story and characters. I loved how diverse the characters are and how inclusive the story is though. Plus, AO always does a fantastic job addressing mental health and identity issues!
(ARC) The Kaya Girl by Mamle Wolo ★★★½ (rounded up)
This was a sweet middle-grade story about two girls who come from vastly different backgrounds in Ghana but who strike up a life-changing friendship. I writing was vibrant and engaging and I loved reading about the Ghanian culture. My tour review is out tomorrow!
The Charm Offensive by Alison Cochrun ★★★★☆
Right from the beginning, I knew Dev and Charlie were going to put my heart through the wringer. I wasn’t expecting the anxiety and OCD rep but it didn’t overshadow the romance and I loved how these incredibly adorable, sweet beans fell for each other. Such a sweet, slightly angsty but swoony read! 💜

I’m about 7% into my ARC for Blood and Moonlight right now and it has definitely piqued my interest so far. It’s decently paced so I’m really looking forward to diving back in and reading more of it tonight!

What’re you currently reading? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Happy reading, friends! 😍

That is disappointing to hear about Radio Silence. I was really looking forward to it. I really liked The Charm Offensive too! It was a super cute romance while also having great rep of anxiety, OCD, and depression.

It wasn’t a bad read by any means but I think I expected to connect to it more than I did. There was just something missing for me but it was still a good read overall! I hope you enjoy it if you do pick it up 🙂 And YAY! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed Charm Offensive too—the rep was really great and the romance had me swooning!

I’m glad you enjoyed Snowe’s book as much as I did. I can’t wait for you to read Henning’s book.

Holy crap, the cover for Blood and Moonlight is Gorgeous!!! ❤ I hope you end up loving that one so I will have to pick it up. haha. So many great upcoming reads and I can't wait to see what you think of Kingdom of Copper. I'm hoping to read Jasmine Throne in July since June sucked and I didn't get to it.

RIGHT?! I ended up really enjoying it (my post just went up today) and I would recommend it. It’s a historical fantasy thriller, which isn’t something that I’ve ever read (I don’t think?) and it was a little less fantasy than I expected but it was still great! Love a good mystery 🙂 I feel like I’ve had Kingdom of Copper on my TBR for ages now and I keep meaning to get to it but then I never do? I hope I do this time though 😃 Happy reading, friend! I hope you enjoy your reads 💜

I’m so behind. I’m about to go to your blog and check out all the posts I’ve missed. With all the company over the last few days.. I haven’t touched my blog or reading. I’m so tired. haha. LOL! I always put books off that are chunky and that could be why!! 🙂 I know that you have been insanely busy too. It doesn’t help with the reading aspect.

I’m bummed that I didn’t enjoy Radio Silence more. I mean, it wasn’t a bad read by any means but I just didn’t connect to it the way I thought I would! I’m glad I finally read it though. Blood and Moonlight was great and I’m so glad I read it!
