#TopTenTuesday: Places in Books I’d Love to Live!

So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is: Places In Books I’d Love to Live

I honestly thought that this topic would be much easier than it ended up being but that could possibly be because I am dead exhausted right now but of course, I can never plan posts ahead 😂 We also don’t need to read me harping on in this post so I’m gonna keep it as short and sweet as possible! Most of these places are fantastical/fictional worlds but some places are real and they’re on my bucket list to at least visit in this lifetime! Also, there’s a very good chance that I’d die very quickly in most of these worlds but … they’re also too amazing to pass up. Without further ado, here are ten places I’d love to live in!

Ketterdam I mean, there’s a 90% chance I’d die very quickly here but it also sounds too amazing for me to not want to live there!

NevermoorThis should surprise no one as I always mention it whenever this type of question comes up. I want to be a permanent resident at The Hotel Deucalion, pls!

Janloon/KekonNo Peak for life! Legit, I would probs die in 5 seconds but wow, I’d love to experience this crazy world for myself!

London BelowI’d probably be super terrified but it’s such a wonderfully curious place!

Red LondonOf all the Londons in all the worlds… Yes, I’d love to live in this magical world!

The World ShipThis place sounds absolutely crazy and I’d love to experience it. I think it’d be so freaking cool (honestly, just being part of this galaxy would be amazeballs)!

Austermeer (Great Libraries specifically)I mean, who wouldn’t want to live in a library full of talking books!? As long as they don’t try to kill me, of course 😉

Port SnowPlease please please let me live in Port Snow? It’s an ideal small town and it’s magically charming! I want to visit all the local spots I read in this amazing series.😍

Alaska – I’d love to live in Calla’s Alaska. Might it be because of a particular someone? Perhaps (oh, who am I kidding, YES!) but while Alaska isn’t glamourised in these books, the wildness of it is still pretty breathtaking!

Scotland (Edinburgh specifically) – This book made me fall madly in love with Edinburgh all over again (which is saying something cos in the little under 2 years that I lived in the UK (in Norwich!) I visited the city 4 times)!

Do you remember all the details about the books you liked/enjoyed or are you forgetful like me? Have you read any of these or are they on your TBR?

  1. Scotland (and especially Edinburgh) are definitely on my list of places I want to go. Living there wouldn’t be bad either ha! The Great Library sounds pretty fabulous too.

  2. Nevermoor- YES! haha. I would love to live in the world of Sorcery of Thorns because that library sounds like it would be so fascinating and so much fun. That would be worth going to several years of schooling to be a librarian. haha. I love that you think you wouldn’t make it long in these worlds.. maybe a good visit?!?! hehe. Great choices, Dini! ❤
