Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:
- What did you read last?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?

Since last Wednesday I’ve finished six books and I’m happy to say that I’ve written and posted a few of these reviews already! We’re ignoring the fact that I have weeks of “I’ll be posting my (mini-)reviews soon” that I still need to tackle but something is better than nothing, right?! More reviews to come ππ
Bad Habits by Flynn Meaney β

This was so different from what I usually read but I absolutely loved it. It was hilarious, it had a strong message and it’s a book that I really wish younger me had access to–although adult me still really appreciated it and I think so many readers of all ages can get something great out of the read. Check out my review!
Enjoy the View (Moose Springs #3) by Sarah Morgenthaler β

I was so looking forward to Easton’s story so I’m quite sad that this ended up being my least favourite of the series. Easton is still my kryptonite but our heroine really set my teeth on edge in this one! I tried to be understanding of her drive and the adventurous thrill but… Nope. Morgenthaler’s signature humour was still enjoyable though! π€·π»ββοΈ Check out my review!
Take A Hint, Dani Brown (The Brown Sisters #2) by Talia Hibbert β

Yes yes YAS! I loved Chloe Brown but I absolutely adored Dani Brown! Dani and Zaf ran away with my heart and they were just *chefs kiss* PERFECTION! Zaf is also one of the best heroes I’ve had the pleasure to read about. He’s such a wonderful character. Love, love, LOVE! My (very gushing, not sorry) review is going up in the morning so be on the look-out if you’re keen to hear my thoughts!
The Project by Courtney Summers β

After loving Sadie a whole lot I was really excited to read more by Summers but unfortunately, this ended up being a bit of a miss for me. I mean, I still enjoyed it but it wasn’t what I was hoping for. The pacing was really slow and the ‘punch’ of the story just wasn’t there. Summers really excels in her portrayal of sisterly relationships though and I did find the cult aspect interesting but I just felt it didn’t really go anywhere. Check out my review!
Silver in the Wood (The Greenhollow Duology #1) by Emily Tesh β

I don’t know what exactly I was expecting because all I heard was that I needed to read this book because it was beautiful and that’s basically it. They weren’t wrong and I loved it! My rating is 4.5-stars right now as there were things I wish certain aspects had been done differently but I think the longer I let this one stew, the closer it’ll creep to 5-stars–I actually can’t stop thinking about it! Beautiful. Review out later this week!
HIM (Him #1) by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy β

I’ve heard so many readers tell me how amazing this is and again, THEY WERE RIGHT! I loved this! I read it in 4-hours because it was addictive (and also insomnia but beside the point)! This is definitely not for those who don’t like sex scenes in their romance because whoa-wow-whoa the steaminess was next level. But the chemistry between Wes and Jamie was SO good and the exploration of their feelings and the relationship was very well done. It wasn’t overly angsty and not as jock-ular as other sports romances I’ve read (by Kennedy) which I really appreciated! RTC.

I’m currently doing my first re-read of Aurora Rising and this time I’m following along with the audiobook which I’m really enjoying! Although I have to admit that the Australian accents done by the cast for one of the characters is really… not good? π There’s an Australian narrator but she only does her character’s chapters and they’re unfortunately few and far between! I think it’s only really noticeable for me cos I lived in Australia for several years. But other than that, I’m really enjoying this re-read! Squad 312, FTW! π

I’m starting a buddy read with Sammie next week for Aurora Rising and then I also have my last blog tour read at the tail end of this month for Aether Ones! I’m not planning on any other set reads this month so let’s see where the mood takes me π

What’re you currently reading? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Happy reading! π

Wow, great job, looks like you’re still on a reading roll, Dini! I’m glad to see you liked Silver in the Wood–I loved that book. π
