#TopTenTuesday: Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of 2021!

So, we’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s prompt is: Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of 2021.

Welcome, welcome back to the first Top Ten Tuesday of 2021! I hope you’re all doing well and that you’ve had a pain free start to the new year. ❤️

Last month, the blogosphere was full of lists for what’s coming out in 2021 and unsurprisingly my TBR has been growing quickly since I took the time to scour through some of them. I know I’m still missing out on a ton but I already have 50(+/-) books on my 2021-releases shelf and I have no doubt that it’s going to keep growing, especially after reading everyones posts today! Since I tend to read a lot of romances and YA fantasies, that’s mostly what this list is full of but I’m definitely keen to add some adult contemporary/literary fiction and some good ol’ thrillers/mysteries too (hint hint: any recs?)!

Now without further ado, here are some titles that I’m super excited for in the first half of 2021:

Amari and the Night Brothers (I’ve been raving about this since last month, it’s no surprise)
Mr. Right Across the Street
A Pho Love Story
(I love pho. I will read this for pho.)
Namesake
Lost in the Never Woods (This cover??? But also, I loved Cemetery Boys so much!)

The Infinity Courts
Second First Impressions
(Can this be the next The Hating Game? I hope so.)
Witches Steeped in Gold
The Forest of Stolen Girls
(After her phenom debut the world needs more Hur!)
The Soulmate Equation (Um, it’s CLo…)

I’m so very excited for these releases, friends! April and March are going to seriously break my bank but I think I’m okay with that. 🤣 Are you excited for any of these books? What’re some of your most anticipated releases in the first half of 2021?

  1. Great list, Dini! I’ve preordered Amari and the Night Brothers thanks to you raving about it so much and I’m very excited to try it, and Witches Steeped in Gold made my list this week, too. I’ve seen The Forest of Stolen Girls on a few lists and it sounds amazing!

  2. Diniiiii! I think it’s no surprise that we have quite a few books in common. xD I’m so glad you loved Amari, and I’m excited for it to be released so that I can start throwing it at absolutely EVERYONE. I’m still not over that book, and it’s been MONTHS since I read it.

I really meant to read Fable last year … honestly, I did. Which means this year, I need to read Fable AND Namesake, because I’m a slacker.

Oh my gosh, I completely forgot about Lost in the Never Woods! How? Why did my brain do that? Yeeees, I need to read that, too. I’ll have to start fortifying my poor feels now just to be able to handle it, I’m sure!

    Here’s my TTT post.

  5. Oh, I really, really hope Second First Impressions will be the next The Hating Game! Fingers crossed it’ll live up to our expectations 🙂
Mr Right Across The Street, A Pho Love Story and Lost in the Never Woods all sound so good too!
I still need to read Fable, but I’ve only heard great things.

  6. Namesake is currently sitting on my kindle waiting to be read. I loved Fable so excited to read the sequel. I think I’m probably adding a few others on your list to my tbr. I didn’t realise Aiden Thomas had a new book coming so thank you for the heads up.

    • Same here! I still haven’t read Thorne’s sophomore book but I think I might give it a pass since I haven’t heard great things about it 😅 And CLo is always a good time. So excited for all the great books coming out!

  7. I’m right there with you, Dini! I’m browsing everyone’s TTT this week with one eye closed because I already have soooo many books on my TBR and I REALLY don’t need to add more. Haha! I did just get approved for The Soul Equation on Netgalley. My approvals for CLo are always hit or miss, so I was super excited to get it. I’m fighting the urge to skip all my other ARCs and pick it up now. 😉 Happy Reading in 2021!
