I stumbled across this post on Loretta’s page (which by the way is awesome and you should defo check it out if you haven’t yet!) several months ago and it looked like so much fun that I couldn’t wait to try it myself. But of course with life, reading, and all the awesome tags out there, I’ve only just now got around to doing it! It involves one of the things that I secretly really love to do on the interwebs: take quizzes! Yes, I’m a quiz-taker-lover! Especially when it’s a book related quiz but also pretty much any rando quiz I come across; you can bet that I’d love to do it, if I haven’t already done it 😂 This tag is then pretty perfect for me! Here’s what Loretta has to say about her tag:

With that said… Let’s get to it! First up are THE RULES:

RED QUEEN

Awkweird because I don’t actually remember who this character is! I read the first two books in this series forever and a day ago and by the time I got to book three, I had just lost interest in it. It might have to do with the fact that I couldn’t remember much about what happened in the first two books but I ended up just getting tired of it… So I’m gonna go look up who this character is right now 😬 Not to toot my own horn but loyalty is quite accurate.

SHADOWHUNTERS
My result: Charlotte Branwell & Mark Blackthorne!

“You may be underestimated and some may count you out, but you’re a serious person when you need to be, and take responsibility very seriously. You’re incredibly loyal (though it may not seem like it at times), and your friends are lucky to have you.”

The only Shadowhunters series that I’ve read is The Dark Artifices and I didn’t even finish the series yet (even though as a trilogy I think it’s the shortest series in this world)! It’s just another one of the many series that I need to get on… That said, I have no idea who Charlotte is and I’m only slightly more familiar with Mark Blackthorne because he was introduced in book two of TDA. I think the description is pretty fitting–loyalty seems to be a thing apparently!

THRONE OF GLASS
My result: Nehemia & Chaol!

Yeah… I don’t know how I feel about this result 😂 I really liked Chaol at the start but felt fairly lukewarm about him as the series continued; although I did like his little bit of growth in ToD! Nehemia… Looking back at her character I kind of feel like she was a blip in the whole series 🙃 I don’t actually remember how I felt about her (but I think I hated her at one point). LOL moving on…

THE HUNGER GAMES
My result: Peeta Mellark!

PEEETAAAAA! I liked this boy-o. So I ain’t mad lol I think the description is pretty spot on especially the heart on sleeve thing (but I really can’t speak of the ‘everyone loves having you around them’ part haha)!

HARRY POTTER
My result: Neville Longbottom!

YAAAAAAASSSSSS. I mean, who wouldn’t be happy getting Neville Longbottom?! YAAAAASSSSSSS 💙

A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES (ACOTAR)
My result: Lucien Vanserra!

Aww, this description is so sad. I’m actually not mad at getting Lucien! He was quite a complex character and although I was mad at him for sticking around and protecting such a douche nugget, and although it was a bit slow to come, I did enjoy his character growth in the last book! I can deal with getting this dude.

THE RAVEN CYCLE
My result: Blue Sargent!

“You are outspoken, and walk to the beat of your own drum. You’ve always been different, and take pride in your individualistic nature. Although you try to maintain a rebellious streak, you are consistently told that you are sensible. Remember, don’t kiss any strange boys!”

I haven’t read this series yet — in fact I just got the first book in the mail today — but I obviously know that Blue is the MC. Or one of the MCs. I hope she’s a likeable one! ‘Don’t kiss any strange boys’ was probably also something that I’m embarrassed to admit applied to a lot of my youth 😂 (oh, back in the day…)

TWILIGHT
My result: Jacob Black!

FOLK OF THE AIR

YAY! I really liked Scarlet’s fierce and badass character 😍I would love to live on a farm with all the doggos and convert a barn into this giant dog house that people can come visit and chill in when they’re feeling tired or stressed or just need all the floofy cuddles. Did I mentioned ALL THE DOGGOS? This is my dream. But yeah, SCARLET! Woo!

Okay, folks. That’s a wrap! Phew, that took me a lot longer than I anticipated to get through! You know how it getting side tracked with not only re-learning about some characters… But getting distracted by all the things (and other quizzes) on Buzzfeed! Oopsies 🙈 I forgive the quizzes for giving me some of those last few results (I mean Jacob AND Taryn?! Come on…)! But this was really so much fun 😍
