Hello, hello and welcome back to another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:
- What did you read last?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?

Okay, but how quickly are the months flying by? I can’t believe it’s already April today! I haven’t been reading a whole lot because gaming has been taking up a lot of my time, but maybe that’s also why the days feel so short! 🤣 Since last week, I’ve finished one book.

A Drop of Corruption (Shadow of the Leviathan #2) by Robert Jackson Bennett ★★★★★
What is it about this series that makes me wish all my reads were like it? I’m obsessed. It was so fun reading this with Charlotte.
I love this fantasy setting and I love the characters even more. Din and Ana have grown even more intriguing and their banter was even more enjoyable to me in this one! Poor Din. 🤭 The mystery was grotesquely compelling and there were plenty of great reveals that had me eagerly gobbling up these pages. I already wish the third book was out or that whatever I pick up next has the same engrossing element to it that makes me feel excited to be wrapped up in a new world.

Even though I do have other reads that I need to finish reading, I’m currently really only focusing on one of them and despite being woefully behind, I’m glad I did manage to catch up a bit this evening! (I just really need to force myself to stop gaming now… 🙃)

Sunbringer (Fallen Gods #2) by Hannah Kaner
I haven’t really been focusing on this much as I was entirely absorbed in ADOC. This has been a fairly slow paced beginning and the element that I found most compelling in the first book (the found family) isn’t hitting the same way here for reasons. That said, the last few chapters have slowly picked up so I have a feeling (and Chris also confirmed it earlier) that we’re getting really close to an explosion of chaos and I can’t wait for it! 😂

It’s been a hot minute since I signed up to do any blog tours but four of these titles below really intrigued me and sounded like ones I’d really enjoy, so my April and May are semi-booked! 😃 I can’t wait to check them out.

What are you currently reading? I hope you’re enjoying whatever book you’ve picked up, friends!

I’ve heard amazing things about The Library of Amorlin. All of your reads look interesting though. Finding something as good as A Drop of Corruption will be hard though

I know I’m going to struggle to find something as good as ADOC and that makes me a little sad. However, I do have some options lined up so I’m hoping to find at least something to reel me in the same way ADOC did.

In the last week I read. 🥁

3 Big Bad Alien by Honey Phillips
4 Alien Huntsman by Honey Phillips
Next up will be more of the Alien Huntsman series by Honey Phillips. I’m loving this series.

I’ve never heard of this Honey Phillips series before but alien sci-fi romances are always a fun time. I might have to take a peek at it 👀 I hope you continue loving your reads!

It was new to me too. I’ve read and loved her Cire Aliens series, but none of her others, until now.

Oooh 5 stars for A Drop of Corruption! I really need to get around to reading the first book in the series, I’m pretty sure I have it on my Kindle already. I hope you end up enjoying Sunbringer, it’s definitely a slower story at first, but it’s got some great moments.

I loved our buddy read and how immersive this series is. The way it instantly reels you in is divine and just what I needed after two disappointing reads in a row prior to that one. I definitely felt for Din 😅 and found Ana’s ire so entertaining 😂 cant wait for the next one either.
I already know that the end of Sunbringer won you over and left you craving the finale. Definitely sounds like a series with some powerful endings!!
I hope you love all of your blog tour reads 🥰🥰 hopefully they’ll prove to be just what you need to push the slumpy feelings aside 🤞
