#TopTenTuesday: Spring 2026 Possibilities

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is: Books on My Spring 2026 To-Read List.

As a mood reader, I’m notoriously bad at sticking to TBRs of any kind, so I try to create “possibility piles” for prompts such as these. Even then, I’m pretty terrible at actually reading the books I highlight, especially given how fickle my mood is these days, so who knows if they will actually get read! 🤭

Voidwalker by S.A. MacLean
At First Spite by Olivia Dade
The Library of Amorlin by Kalyn Josephson
Sweet Bean Paste by Durian Sukegawa
Paladin’s Grace by T. Kingfisher

Empire of Shadows by Jacquelyn Benson
In the Labyrinth of Drakes by Marie Brennan
The Geographer’s Map to Romance by India Holton
Knight’s Shadow by Sebastien de Castell
Assassin’s Quest by Robin Hobb

Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR?

  1. You and me are in the same boat here! Seasonal TBR posts are fun to make but don‘t necessarily predict what I actually read.😂

hope you enjoy these titles whenever you happen to read them.

    • They’ve got tons of books and in a wide range of (sub)genres as well! From cosy fantasy to cosy fantasy romance to cosy horror. I’ve only read a small number of their books but I’ve enjoyed them all 🙂

  2. I haven’t read any of these yet, but the India Holton books are on my TBR! I also loved Spoiler Alert by Olivia Dade but I still need to read more of her books, including At First Spite. Hope you’ll enjoy all of these!

    • I read one of Olivia Dade’s very early releases and I haven’t touched any of her new stuff yet despite having… Pretty much all of the books on my shelf already (as special editions no less) 🤣 What am I like! But anyway… I’m very excited to read them as I’ve heard all good things! I hope you enjoy the India Holton books—I read the first one last year and it was so much fun!

  3. You have a nice mix of books here, Dini. I’m like you, I’ve been doing a lot of mood reading, or reading what catches my eye, so totally understand it you don’t get all of these read in a timely manner. I hope you enjoy them whenever you get to them.

  4. Voidwalker is one that I really liked! Oh my gosh.. I need to read the second Hobb book so I can read the third with you. Let me try and squeeze book two in next week and then I should be good! 🙂 I hope you enjoy whichever books you get to. Have a great week, my friend!

    • Ooh, did you read the first one already!? Did I totally miss you reading it?! Haha 😂 I hope you loved it though! The second one is a bit of a slower burn, but so much more pain, and so much more going on politically and in Fitz’s life. The ending absolutely wrecked me. I was also talking to Charlotte about the Robin Hobb books and we were saying that if we don’t manage to read the third book together, we can at least start the next trilogy together, so no pressure! The book has just been creeping into my mind lately, so I had a feeling maybe my mood might call me to pick it up soon, lol.

We also totally need to read The Bone Season with Julie… 👀 Haha we keep postponing that read!

      • I did! I read it in December. I’m hoping to read the second book next month. I have been putting it off for that reason. lol I have read that it’s a bit slower.

Oh my gosh! The Bone Season!! I keep forgetting about that. Maybe Mayish?

  5. Of course you added a Robin Hobb book! It’s nice to see you enjoying the series so much.

I am very intrigued by Olivia Dade; I was about to request an ARC for one of her books but I knew I would not get it, and now I keep seeing her books everywhere.

Sweet Bean Paste is another one that’s on my radar, and I’d like to read more books like that.

I hope you enjoy all of these!

    • Hehe, its been close to three months since I’ve read a Robin Hobb book and it’s been crawling back into my mind lately so I guess maybe my mood will call for it soon? 🤭 I love that series!

Olivia Dade’s books are pretty popular, especially over the last couple of years. I hope you’ll enjoy her books if you do manage to get your hands on a copy! I also hope you enjoy Sweet Bean Paste whenever you get to it 🙂

      Happy reading, Anna!

  6. I love how you call this list possibilities. Hopeful, but realistic. I would love to get to Paladin’s Grace myself. I got that one for Christmas this year. I have so many T. Kingfisher books to get to, it’s ridiculous. Hope you enjoy all these when you get a chance to pick them up.

    • Gotta keep it hopeful but realistic 🤣 I got myself the whole Paladin series earlier this year so I definitely want to read at least the first book soon. I hope you enjoy Paladin’s Grace if/when you pick it up, Alicia! Happy reading 🙂

  7. This is a great list of potential reads! I obviously hope you enjoy Empire of Shadows because I’ve loved that series so far, and do think you’ll love The Library of Amorlin. I hope you enjoy all of these if/when you get around to reading 🙂
