I’m spending this Sunday night in bed with Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan. This’ll be my first buddy read with Leslie this year and I’m excited and anxious to dive in. You know when you start a new book and immediately get that “oh, this is gonna be good” feeling? I’m only two chapters in right now and I can already tell that this is going to have me emotionally twisted up, and hopefully it’ll be in the best way! I’m going for an immersive read with this after testing out the audiobook.

It’s been a weird week at the office since we got to WFH on Tuesday due to Chinese New Year, but then we had to come back to the office for the rest of the week and that was a drainer. Things were kind of slow-paced though as the fasting month started on Thursday. 🌙 Ramadan Mubarak to all those who are fasting! 🌙

It was a bit of a quieter week on the blog as I only posted x4 times this week. But in more positive news, I finally cleared off the stacks of books that were situated on my floor and now my room feels so much more spacious. Even though they’d only been inhabiting the floor space for a few weeks, it feels like much longer! 😂 While my library catalogue is now updated, I can’t say that I’ve actually placed these books in any semblance of order on my shelves. Sadly, I think it might be even messier than it was before and I somehow feel like I’ve got even less shelf space than before? Not sure how or why, but I know that I really need to do a proper sort out of my bookshelf at some point this year. It’s just looking like a right mess now!
