#TopTenTuesday: “N”-ticing Titles

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is a: Book Covers Featuring Cool/Pretty/Unique/etc. Typography (Typography is the art of arranging letters so they look visually appealing and more interesting than, for example, the body text of this blog post you’re reading now. I did a similar post to this a few years ago, so if you need inspiration on what I’m talking about click here to have a look.)

But I’m obviously going rogue today. This week’s topic wasn’t tickling my brain so I decided it might as well be time to return to my alphabet challenge. Since last time I mentioned how I skipped the letters “M” and “N” to head straight for “O”, I’ve gone back to do M, and now we’re on the letter “N”! In this list, I’m focusing on enticing (or “n”-ticing) titles that I have on my TBR. All of these made it on my TBR radar because their titles piqued my interest and I can’t wait to check them out.

Now without further ado, here’s what I got…

Check out the other letters of the alphabet: A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | I | J | K | L | M | N | O

The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco
Natalie Tan’s Book of Luck & Fortune by Roselle Lim
Never Been Kissed by Timothy Janovsky
Night of the Raven, Dawn of the Dove by Rati Mehrotra
Nightshade & Oak by Molly O’Neill

Nobody Puts Romcoms in the Corner by Kathryn Freeman
NOS4A2 by Joe Hill
Not Quite Dead Yet by Holly Jackson
Not That Bad edited by Roxane Gay
Nettle & Bone by T. Kingfisher

Have you read any of these titles or are any of them on your TBR? What are some ‘n’-ticing titles starting with the letter “N” that you’ve read or want to read?

    • Haha, I honestly can’t remember when or how Nobody Puts Rom Coms got on my TBR radar but it does look very cute! I can’t wait to check out Not Quite Dead and Never Been Kissed. I hope you enjoy the latter whenever you get to it as well, Lindsey! 😍

    • Every time I read the title NOS4A2 it makes me want to read it even more but I just never get around to it. 🫣 I’m excited to hear you say that about Nettle & Bone. I’m keen to finally pick it up this year!

  1. “N” ticing, love that pun! You’re making great progress with your Alphabet series. The Name of the Rose is one I’ve been wanting to read since I was in undergrad and I still haven’t! I love Nettle & Bone and I’m excited about Night Shade & Oak, did you read it yet?

    • My friend gifted me this copy of Name of the Rose back in 2014 as it’s one of her all-time favourites and I *still* haven’t got around to reading it. I’m the worst, lol. I haven’t read Nightshade & Oak cos I haven’t bought a copy yet actually, but I’m looking forward to it! I didn’t read the author’s debut last year though, did you?
