Sundays in Bed With… #MyWeeklyWrapUp [314]

We’re back with another Sundays in Bed With… meme! This meme dares to ask you what book has been in your bed this morning and is hosted by Midnight Book Girl. Come share what book you’ve spent your time reading in bed or wish you had time to read today.

I’ll be spending the rest of my Sunday in bed reading A Man for Mrs. Claus. Now, I know this cover’s illustration is… A little raunchy, which might lead people to think that this is all smut erotica and not a contemporary romance. I’m pleasantly surprised to find that, so far (36%), it’s not smutty at all. There’s plenty of flirting and innuendo, but the “The Bachelorette with Mrs. Claus” vibe is well-written, sexy, and a lot of fun. I’m totally here for it!

What book are you spending your Sunday in bed with?

I generally love rainy, gloomy, stormy weather. The humidity drops (briefly) and the air cools down (marginally) and theoretically, it’s nice. That said, it’s not so nice when you actually have to go out into that weather and be a functioning adult with a job that requires you to be in the office. Last week, it poured down like it hasn’t for months but that also meant, flooding across parts of Jakarta and beyond, horrendous traffic, and unfortunately, increased changes of getting ill. I started feeling feverish on Friday and so I wound up WFH, which was nice, but also not nice because I had deadlines and had to function with a muggy brain. Thankfully, it’s stopped raining much this weekend and we’ve finally seen more than a glimpse of sun!

Other than that, I’ve found myself playing a lot of mobile games? I don’t know how this happened, but I totally get people’s addiction, because it’s fun. This does tend to happen with me though (just not with these games specifically) and I know this phase will pass, lol.

ICYMI here’s what I posted this week:

For some reason this week, I’ve started listening to my Top Tracks of 2022. I can’t believe I forgot about this song because I love it.

I hope everyone’s doing well and treating themselves with care. Have a great week ahead, friends! 💜
