#TopTenTuesday: Most Anticipated Books of 2026 — Part 1

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is: Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2026

The anticipated 2026 releases topic was actually one of the final Let’s Talk Bookish topics of 2025, so I’ve already done this post and you can see it here. Those listed in that post are my top-top anticipated releases but I’ve discovered a few others recently that I’m also looking forward to this year. Not sure if I’ll hit 10 although who am I kidding? I love adding books to my TBR radar, lol. 😂 These books are listed in order of publication month, spanning from January to June.

The Seven Daughters of Dupree by Nikesha Elise Williams
The Re-Do List by Denise Williams
Keeper of Lost Children by Sadeqa Johnson
The Secret Lives of Murderers Wives by Elizabeth Arnott
The Starter Ex by Mia Sosa

The Paris Match by Kate Clayborn
London Falling by Patrick Radden Keefe
How to Fake it in Society by KJ Charles
Honey by Imani Thompson
The Open Era by Edward Schmit

Do you have any of these books on your radar? What books are you looking forward to in 2026? It’s inevitable friends—it’s time to grow the TBR again! 🤭

    • i love clayborn’s books as well! i read my first radden keefe book in 2025 and loved it. he writes so well and his words are so compelling. i can’t wait to check out more of his work 🙂 i hope you enjoy your 2026 reading as well!

  1. Ooh I’m surprised to say that all of these are new to me 😲 although a few are definitely going onto my list now. Looking up the Sadeqa Johnson one reminded me that I really wanted to read Yellow Wife by the author then somehow forgot all about it 🙈 I’m also particularly intrigued by The Secret Lives of Murderers Wives and will definitely have to read it sometime. Im off to check your other list off and Im guessing we’ll have some titles in common there 😅

    • yeah, the other anticipated releases list will have more of the ‘popular’ titles that are coming out this year. but these are ones that i’m also very excited about 🙂 i’ve wanted to read yellow wife by johnson however it wasn’t available on kindle! i totally forgot about it until this new book, lol. i’ll have to see if it’s available now!

      • Funny how we both forgot it 😂🙈 but then both of our TBRs are pretty crazy I believe. I just checked and they do that one as an ebook now so hopefully you can get hold of it sometime.
