#TopTenTuesday: Recent Additions to My Shelf

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Most Recent Additions to My Bookshelf

I don’t know why I thought we’d done this one more recently but apparently the last time this was a TTT topic was back in January 2025! If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I’m as much a book collector as I am a reader (yes, that’s how it is) so unsurprisingly, I’ve made loads of additions to my shelf since the start of the year. 🤭 Here are ten that I’m really excited to get to!

Red City by Marie Lu
The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson
The Second Death of Locke by V.L. Bovalino
A Tempest of Ravens by E.A. Bard
The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow

Strange Houses by Uketsu
Heir by Sabaa Tahir
The Floating World by Axie Oh
Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix
Arcana Academy by Elise Kova

Do we have any similar recent additions to our shelves? Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR?

  1. The Raven Scholar is a really high priority for me, just as soon as I grab a copy. A Tempest of Ravens looks fun too, and it’s new to me! Ravens must be a theme lmao

  2. Always fun to see what new or recent bookshelf additions we’ve had! Hope you enjoy these all; Elise’s cover art sure looks interesting so I may have to take a closer look at that one. 🙂 Happy 2026!

  3. I’ve not read any of these, Dini, but being a cover lover, they certainly attract the eye. I hope you enjoy them all when you get to read them. Happy New Year!

  4. Wow! You have so many amazing books! Heir, The Everlasting, and Arcana Academy are all in my top reads of the year. And I have Red City on my list today too. Thank you again! Maybe we can buddy read it?
