We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is: Non-bookish Freebie (The sky is the limit here. Make a top ten list on any topic of your choosing, bookish or not!)
It’s a non-bookish freebie today but I’m drawing serious blanks about what to post so I’m going rogue and heading back to the alphabet series. We’ve made it to the letter “J” now and I’m kind of shocked by how few titles I have that start with that letter! 😱 As a result, this is going to have to be a mix of some of my favourite reads and two that are still on my TBR but I have very high hopes for! Let’s do this!
Check out the other letters of the alphabet: A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | I

Jade City by Fonda Lee
Jade War by Fonda Lee
Jade Legacy by Fonda Lee
Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating by Christina Lauren
Juniper Harvey and the Vanishing Kingdom by Nina Varela

Juniper Hill by Devney Perry
Just One Tent by Jaqueline Snowe
The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri
James by Percival Everett *TBR
The Jasad Heir by Sara Hashem *TBR

Have you read any of these books or are they on your TBR? What are some of your favourite books that start with the letter “J”?

I definitely think that I would struggle with the letter J too. Great choices though

Thanks, it seems that you and everyone else feel the same way about the letter J! I had somehow deluded myself into thinking I wouldn’t 😂

“J” is a difficult letter for this challenge!

I wonder if I have any “J” books…I sold my copy of THE JASAD HEIR recently, so can’t use that one. I have so many books that I must have one for “J” lol!

That’s what I thought too and was shocked by how few I ended up having! 🤣

I used to see that Christina Lauren book EVERYWHERE! So many readers loved that one. 🙂 Looks like you still found a nice collection of “J” novels even with fewer. 🙂 Thanks for visiting my list today!

Yeah, I feel like Josh and Hazel was definitely one of their more popular titles back in the day. I loved it so much!

He, he I just tried a J search through by blog, but it picked up too many letter J’s in author names to be of use.

I sorted my Goodreads shelf otherwise I think it might’ve taken me too long to figure out 🤭

Good job, Dini. J is not an easy one. I’ve read James and Josh and Hazel, but that’s it. I always struggle with J when doing challenges. The ones that come to mind for me are The Jailhouse Lawyer by John Grisham, Jack and Jill by Alex Cross, The Jabberwocky Princess by Cece Louise, and Jenny James is not a Disaster by Debbie Johnson (this one is on my TBR). I’m sure there are others, but not a lot.

I can’t recall ever having done a challenge where I had to name J titles so I don’t think I expected how tough it would be to find, but I know now! 🤣 It was surprisingly difficult!

Great list! I don’t think I’ve actually read any of these, but I love the cover for Juniper Harvey and the Vanishing Kingdom!

I haven’t read any of these but five of them are on my high priority TBR. A couple of the others are on my TBR and a few are entirely new to me. I’m guessing just one tent is a camping version of the one bed trope though 😅 which are the two on your TBR?

The ones on my TBR are James and The Jasad Heir! I’m looking forward to both cos I’ve heard great things about them. Did you have either of those on your TBR?
And yes, ‘just one tent’ is the camping version of the one bed trope 🤭 It was a lot of fun!

I really hope you enjoy both of them. Yes I have an ebook of The Jasad Heir. James is on my unowned TBR but I don’t know if I should read Huckleberry Finn first 🤔
I’m glad you had fun with that one 😊 always lovely when a trope is handled well and it sounds like a fun spin on it too.

Haha, yep, those books are taking the win 🤣 I had so few J titles and I didn’t expect that at all! I’m excited to read Jasad Heir cos I’ve heard lots of good things, even about the sequel as well. I hope you love it whenever you get to it 🙂

“J” is not a common title letter, is it? I’m scanning my bookshelves right now and I don’t see ANY. Interesting.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

It’s funny how some letters are almost too easy to find book titles, and others are almost impossible!
