Let’s Talk Bookish: Pride Month Book Recs!

✨ Welcome back to another week of LTB! ✨

Let’s Talk Bookish is a weekly meme created by Rukky @Eternity Books and co-hosted by Aria @Book Nook Bits and myself! In this discussion meme, participants get to talk about certain topics, share opinions, and spread the love by visiting each other’s posts! Learn more about LTB, past topics and future topics HERE.

This week’s topic is:

Prompts: Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈 To celebrate, we’d love to hear about your favourite LGBTQIA+ books, why you love them, and what books you’d recommend for a summer Pride reading list. Are there any new releases you’re looking forward to reading this Pride Month?

I don’t know about you, but I love discovering new LGBTQIA+ gems! I know there are tons of queer books out there and many that I already have on my TBR and that I need to read asap! Below are some of my favourites and a couple more that are still on my TBR, but that I hope to get to this summer! 🤞🏽

These are a mix of novels, novellas, and graphic novels, plus a mix of genres as well! Even though some of the characters really go through it in their stories, all of them had happy or satisfyingly fitting endings, and they all left me feeling warm and overflowing with love. ❤️ I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of these reads to everyone!

I’m hoping that 2025 will be the year that I finally read some of these books cos at least half of them have been on my TBR for… Too many years now! Three, at least, are 2025 releases and I’m keen to give them a read.

Annemieke @ A Dance With Books
Rachael @ The Green Tea Librarian
Leyre @ Read You Leyre
Yolanda @ Past Midnight
Alli @ Alli the Book Giraffe
Elle @ Unwrapping Words
Lost @ Chronicles of Tick Tock
Emma @ Pages of Emma
Raji @ Worlds Unlike Our Own
Abyssal Librarian
LaRonda @ Flying Paperbacks

If I’ve missed your post this week, don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments, and I’ll add you to this week’s list of community posts ASAP!

What are some of your favourite LGBTQIA+ books? Have you read any of these and did you love them or are they still on your TBR?

  1. Great books! I really need to read Last Night at the Telegraph Club – it’s been sat on my Kindle collecting dust for far too long! I also just got my Libby loan through for If We Were a Movie so hopefully I’ll get to that before my hold expires.

I hope you get a chance to read all of these soon and love them!
