#TopTenTuesday: Books that Feature Travel

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is: Books that Feature Travel

The minute I saw this topic, my mind blanked out, and it was like I hadn’t read a book before in my entire existence. It took some digging through my Goodreads shelf, but I eventually came up with ten books that feature travel of some kind, and with some more obvious than others. So, without further ado, let’s get to it!

The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet
Fugitive Telemetry
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
Fable
Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute

The Simple Wild
Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands
Fated Blades
Spice Road
We Hunt the Flame

Do you read a lot of books that feature travel of some kind? Have you read any of these books or are they on your TBR?

    • only read the Martha Wells book in your list. The whole Murderbot series is brilliant.

another favourite is The Spare Man by Mary Robinette Kowal. Involves a cruise to Mars.

Veronica Scott has a great series of books about an interstellar cruise liner

  1. I draw blanks often when creating lists or some type of content! Thank goodness there are usually ways/things to help us remember. 🙂 Glad you found some that fit!

  2. Oh I missed The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet and Addie LaRue, those are indeed great books featuring travel! I also loved The Simple Wild (which made my list too, its a favorite) and We Hunt The Flame (which I loved but still need to read the sequel of).

    • Ah, yeah. They were so good! 😊 I still need to finish The Simple Wild series but I think that means, The Simple Wild itself is due for a re-read cos it’s been *years* since I last read it. The We Hunt the Flame sequel is amazing! I hope you love it whenever you get to it 😍

    • It took a little while for me to get into, mainly because the main character was a bit hard to root for but when it finally clicked, I ended up loving it a lot! I still need to read the sequel but I’m keen to 🙂 I hope you enjoy it if you get around to reading it!
