#TopTenTuesday: Books with Names in the Title

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is: Books That Surprised Me (in a good or bad way)

I didn’t know what word to focus on for this week’s topic and it was so difficult to choose. I went with something that I think may have been a topic before (and this probably doesn’t count toward the prompt) but I can’t think at the moment so we’ll just roll with it! 😂 Today’s list of ten features books with names in the title. These are mostly character names but sometimes they’re the name of something else in the story (okay, it’s only in one title)! I’m reading one of them right now but the rest are on my TBR and high on my priority list for 2025.

A Man Called Ove
The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida
Adelaide
Project Hail Mary
How Zelda Married Death

The Songbook of Benny Lament
The Two Lives of Lydia Bird
Frank and Red
The Truth According to Ember
Wendy, Darling

What word did you go with today? Have you read any of these (and how’d you feel about them) or do you also have them on your TBR?

  1. Great feature. I wonder if I have a lot of titles with names in them. May be a good one to use for a future TTT week when I’m stuck and wondering, what-do-I-write-about? 🙂

    • Mood because I keep interesting TTT topics I see people do for that exact same reason! 😂 I didn’t think I’d have so many books with names in the title but there were plenty more I had to choose from 🙂

    • I scrolled through my entire Kindle catalogue to find all of these books but some were off the top of my head 🤭 I love the convenience of searching the Goodreads shelves by a word. It has helped me through so many TTTs 😂

    • I just finished Project Hail Mary! It was an interesting read, very science heavy which made it a struggle for my pea brain to read at times but I would highly recommend the audiobook! It made the read so much more enjoyable (and fast paced)! 😍 I hope we both love A Man Called Ove!

    • Oh, is Project Hail Mary getting a movie!? I didn’t know that! I have to admit that I’ve been reading this book for… Weeks now but the science stuff keeps tripping me up and it’s slowing my progress a lot. This book might be too smart for me, haha 🤣 But I’m enjoying a lot of the other bits! I love Rocky
