#TopTenTuesday: Treat Myself Wishlist!

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books I Hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes (List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to your wishlist so that people can grant your wishes. Make sure you link your wishlist to your mailing address or include the email address associated with your e-reader in the list description so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. Please don’t feel obligated to send anything to anyone!)

As an international reader, these types of posts don’t usually work for me so I always twist the prompt to highlight some books that I hope to get for myself soon. There are only a few times per year when I allow myself to really let go and not feel guilty about how many books I splurge on in one go. Now being one of them! 😃

So without further ado, here are a few of the books on my “treat myself wishlist”! 🎁

I’ve also just noticed the similarities with these covers—I guess these colours are trending at the minute! 🤭

The Undermining of Twyla and Frank by Megan Bannen
Intermezzo by Sally Rooney
The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley
Best Hex Ever by Nadia El-Fassi
The Silverblood Promise by James Logan

Right Where We Left Us by Jen Devon
Most Ardently by Gabe Cole Novoa
The Will of the Many by James Islington
Blood Over Bright Haven by M.L. Wang
Running Close to the Wind by Alexandra Rowland

Are any of these books also on your wishlist or have you already read them? For those who celebrate, I hope you have a Merry Christmas! 🎄 And for those who may be having a difficult time around this time of the year, I’m sending all the warm hugs your way! 🫂 Take care, friends!

  1. The Ministry of Time and Blood Over Bright Haven both made my TBR this year too, but I still need to get to them. Running Close to the Wind wasn’t what I expected, but I ended up really enjoying it. I think I’ll need to reread it 🙂

  2. I do celebrate Christmas, but I do not buy myself anything often so even though the topic should have been easy for me, it definetely wasn’t.

I almost added The Ministry of Time to my yearly list, because I’ve heard only great things about it. Hope you can treat yourself soon!

Have a fantastic time if you celebrate these days!

  3. Hope all of these end up under your tree! I haven’t really read about any, but I do see Megan’s making lists often. 🙂 Happy reading and Christmas! Thanks for visiting my list today.

  4. I’m listening to Blood Over Bright Haven right now. I’m about 30% and loving it so far. I will read The Will of Many with you!! I’ve been wanting to get to that one soon. I hate that Book Depository is gone and I can’t gift you books like before. 😦

    • Ooh, yay! I’ve heard a lot of good things about Blood Over Bright Haven so I’m excited to hear that you’ve been enjoying it. I hope you continue to enjoy it! I’m definitely down for a buddy read of Will of the Many! For some reason I thought you had already read it and I’m not sure why, lol 🤣 Excited for our year of buddy reads ahead! 💜

    • I’ve heard so many great things about The Will of the Many. I was waiting for the book price to drop a bit cos it’s fairly steep for an ebook but I figured if it hasn’t happened yet it probably won’t happen anytime soon so I went ahead and chucked it on my buy list 🤣 I hope you enjoy Twyla & Frank! I can’t wait to get back to that world!

  5. I have never read any of Sally Rooney’s books but I am curious about Intermezzo, especially from the reviews I’ve heard but I am still undecided.

I hope you get to read/own Blood Over Bright Haven, it is such a good book!

  6. Being an international blogger myself I definitely relate. I did something similar and listed the books I’d love to own one day. The Silverblood Promise looks amazing! I hope you’ll love all these books whenever you get your hands on them 🙂 Thanks for visiting my blog earlier in the week!
