We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Thankful/ Thanksgiving Freebie!
Ngl, with where my mental state is right now, I was sorely tempted to skip this topic… I changed my mind because I wanted to highlight some books that I’m thankful to have read this year. These made me thankful I’m a reader, thankful that I read them, thankful that the author wrote them, and thankful because they helped me get through A Time™️ mentally, and I want to share all of that with you. So here are tentwelve picks from my reads this year that I’m thankful to have read and perhaps these titles will be interesting for you too (from most recently read)!

Bright Young Women – my review
Mirrored Heavens
Blood Price – my review
Immortal Dark – my review
Burn for Me – my review
The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue – my review

Kindling – my review
Indigo – my review
Open Water – my review
More Happy Than Not – my review
Night Hawk – my review
Sea of Tranquility – my review

Have you read any of these books? What books are you thankful for this year? I’d love to know some of your greats in 2024!

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue will stay living in my mind rent free for the rest of my life.

This was a great spin on the topic. Hard one, but a good one. Sadly, I read none of these, but I am glad they made an impression on you.

Addie LaRue was really good. And I love Beverly Jenkin’s historical romances! I haven’t read either Indigo or Night Hawk yet, but I loved Forbidden, Breathless, Restless, and Rebel.

I haven’t read any of those ones yet but I do have Forbidden and Rebel on my TBR. I actually went and added three more to my TBR last week: Midnight, Before the Dawn and Night Song. I’m keen to pick them up soon! 😍 Bev Jenkins’ histroms give me life!

Great idea for the thankful post, Dini. I remember reading your review for Indigo and added it to my TBR, but need to refresh that list. I will have to see if my library has it. I will have to refer back to list at another time to see if there are others I want to read.

Ooh, I do hope you enjoy it, Carla. Bev Jenkins is such an incredible histrom writer—not just for her deeply romantic and sensual stories but I learn so much history from her stories! Super refreshing 🙂 If you ever do pick it up, I hope you enjoy it!

I always find the thankful prompt a hard one haha and since it tends to fall in SFF month I always skip it haha. But I think you filled it in really well. I’ve only read Addie
