We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is actually Planes, Trains & Automobiles/Books Featuring Travel (books whose plots involve travel or feature modes of transportation on the cover/title) (submitted by Cathy @ What Cathy Read Next)
I was tempted to go rogue today because apparently, my brain thinks I haven’t read any books involving planes, trains, and automobiles or that feature travel! I had to do a lot of digging and to make this easier on myself, I also didn’t limit the options to just one mode of transport on the cover or travel in the plot—I’m doing it all. 😂 On that note, these are all books I’ve read and have enjoyed a lot over the years!

Fable
That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon
Spice Road
Runaway Groomsman
Artificial Condition

Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands
No Matter the Wreckage
Dance of a Burning Sea
Field Notes on Love
The Simple Wild

Do you read a lot of books that involve travel? Have you read any of these or are they on your TBR?

I haven’t read any of these and I found this topic way too hard as well. So I did something else 🙂

I love it and how it complemented all of the author’s poems beautifully 🙂 It’s an underrated book!

I went broad too! I love your picks, I wish I would’ve thought of Emily Wilde because they travel by fairy portals and I think that’s genius!

Nice picks Dini! My brain went easy on this topic and just chose book covers with transportation lol, because same I was like I’ve read tons of books with transportation and travel…now what are they? 🤔 lol

Lol that’s what I thought to do but then realised I couldn’t recall more than two off the top of my head! This was tougher than I thought it’d be too cos damn, my memory really let me down 😂

I did it all too! I couldn’t think of enough books that involved only one type of travel.

It was surprisingly one of the first books that came to mind even though it’s been ages since I read it. It was fun and totally agree, it’s underrated!

I had similar trouble finding books that involved modes of transportation. So I tweaked mine to involved starting in one place and ending up in another.

Ooh, I don’t know if that twist would’ve made it easier or harder for me to do this week’s topic but it sounds fun! 😄

I guess I’ve been reading a lot of science fiction lately, so there’s been a lot of space travel almost by default. Murderbot is always a good addition to a bookish list, though!
Spice Road looks really neat! I’ll have to look into it further.

Space travel is a whole lot of fun! I was tempted to add another Murderbot on my list cos all of them would’ve fit nicely 😂 Spice Road was interesting—it was a grower for sure but by the end I was so invested!

I forgot to include That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon, I read it recently and want to continue with the series soon.

You did a great job. Nobody said it had to be all one mode of transportation. I didn’t do that, either.
Thanks for visiting my post.
