#TopTenTuesday: Most Anticipated Books of 2024: Part II

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Most Anticipated Books Releasing During the Second Half of 2024

I don’t keep very good track of books that are released in a year because there are just so many and I can’t keep up without getting overwhelmed, so I just don’t. 😂 Also, I know these TTT topics usually have me covered for exciting upcoming releases and I always add tons to my TBR each time.

I’m aware there are tons I’m missing or forgetting (because welp, my brain) but these are the ones that I have on my Goodreads 2024 Releases List. I’m really keen to read these!

The Undermining of Twyla and Frank by Megan Bannen
A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston
Do Me A Favor
by Cathy Yardley
The Truth According to Ember
by Danica Nava
Immortal Dark by Tigest Girma

How to Help A Hungry Werewolf by Charlotte Stein
House of Frank
by Kay Synclaire
Rugged Blood
by Ashley Bennett
A Legend in the Baking
by Jamie Wesley
A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping
by Sangu Mandanna

What books are you looking forward to in the second half of 2024? Are any of these on your TBR too?

  1. Why does the guy on the Rugged Blood cover look like Bella Swan’s dad xD haha It looks like a really interesting book though!

  2. It’s my first time seeing Immortal Dark and the cover is GORGEOUS. Definitely need to check that one out. All the covers here with couple art are making me feel things, so I have my work cut out for me 🤭

  3. I’ve been seeing Ashley’s novel everywhere so I think it’ll be a reader favorite (that cover does make it look cute) and I’ve seen ‘Magical Innkeeping’ on a few lists this week too, but prior to that, it was an unfamiliar title. Hope you enjoy ALL of these! Always fun to anticipate new books. 🙂

  4. How to Help a Hungry Werewolf is one that Julie and I have an arc to! If you have it want to read it with us?? I am going to meet Ashley Poston tonight at an author event!! I am so excited for her next book. 🙂

  6. So many amazing-sounding books to look forward to! I definitely want to read A Novel Love Story and Rugged Blood (how had I not heard of this one?!?), and I have an arc of How to Help a Hungry Werewolf. Can’t wait!

    • I spend too much time on romance twitter and I think that’s where I came across Rugged Blood for the first time. That cover is what probably caught my eye 😂 I can’t wait to see your thoughts on How to Help a Hungry Werewolf. I hope you love it!

    • I still need to read her Ponto Beach trilogy but I read Role Playing last year and it ended up being one of my favourite romances of the year. 😍 I hope you love Do Me A Favor as much as you enjoyed the trilogy!

  8. I don’t see any of my anticipated releases on your list but I hope you enjoy all of yours!

I hope to do a post on my anticipated releases (as well as preorders) I have in 2024 in July but some of mine are Heir by Sabaa Tahir, Amari and the Despicable Wonders by B.B. Alston, the new Percy Jackson book and both of Jennifer Lynn Barnes new books. Some of my already released preorders include This Could Be Us by Kennedy Ryan, Past, Present, and Future by Rachel Lynn Solomon, and the last in the Legacy of Orisha trilogy by Tomi Adeyemi. That’s basically my whole list 😅.
