#TopTenTuesday: May Flowers

We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is May Flowers — Pick your own title for this one to reflect the direction you choose to go with this prompt (books with flowers on the cover, flower names in the title, characters whose names are flower names, stories involving flowers/gardeners)

I went for the easy option today and will be spotlighting 10 books with flowers on the cover and I’ve deliberately picked ones that are still on my TBR.

The Waves Take You Home
This Place is Still Beautiful

Before I Let Go

Black Water Sister

After Hours on Milagro Street

Flowers from the Storm
Forget Me Not

Spells for Lost Things

The Ten Thousand Doors of January

A Botanist’s Guide to Parties and Poisons

Have you read any of these books or are they also on your TBR? Flowers on covers seemed a bit of a trend in recent years—do you like, dislike or feel indifferent about these covers?

  1. I loved The Ten Thousand Doors of January and it’s perfect for this theme and also, can cartoon men maybe not be so hot? I’m looking at you cover of Forget Me Not😂

  2. I don’t have Jenna’s on my shelf or anything, but I think I did read about that one back in the day! May be a book I need to look up again on Goodreads. 🙂

  3. All very eye catching covers, Dini. The only one I’ve read is The Ten Thousand Doors of January and I really like it. Out of my comfort zone, and I was glad I went there. I hope you enjoy all of these when you get to them.
