We’re back with another Top Ten Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Bookish Superpowers I Wish I Had (e.g. never accidentally buying the same book twice, every book I buy would be automatically signed/personally dedicated by the author, the ability to read faster, etc.) (Submitted by Cathy @WhatCathyReadNext)
This week’s topic is a fun one although I admit I struggled to come up with 10 bookish superpowers that I would want. It was still fun to think of these though but I think numbers 3, 6, 7 and 8 would be my top picks if I really had to choose! 😂

- The power to never run out of shelf space no matter how many books I buy!
- The power to legally cancel my import taxes on all bookish goods! 😂😭
- The ability to simply think of a book review post-read and have it immediately write itself.
- Similarly, the ability to magically annotate my books as I read without lifting a finger!
- The power to remember all my favourite quotes as I read them.
- The power to clearly remember all the books I read for all eternity.
- The super duper ability to magically and automatically want to read whatever book I pick up, regardless of what my mood is!
- The power to get back the time I spent reading a book I hated or before DNFing a book.
- The power to finish one book per day regardless of length!
- The super magical power to buy all the special editions I want without going broke! 🤭

What superpowers related to books would you want to have? Do any of these make your list? I can imagine some of them would be in high demand!

These are all so good!! That last one is a true life goal. lol.

These are all greatl You should totally get a refund on your import taxes and your time.
Thanks for stopping by earlier.

Def relate to picking up a book and wishing I actually wanted to read it in the moment. Love this post, from one mood reader to another haha

This would be FANTASTIC! Especially when we are in book slumps. 🙂
P.S your blog is ADORABLE! ❤

This is such a fun challenge! I bet it was hard to come up with them on the spot! Haha I’d love to collect special editions without the price tag too 🤣
But the power to have reviews written as soon as you think of them, and remembering your favourite quotes are my favourite. Imagine 😍😍

The post writes itself – yes, please. I would want that for reviews because some are so hard to write.

Especially when we love a book so much it’s hard to be coherent with our thoughts! 😂

Import taxes should be waived on books – with or without a superpower 🫢 Wonderful list!

I’m loving all the lists people come up with. I love the reviewing powers and memory ones. I would add the power to know if I have read a book before buying another copy. Wonderful list, Dini.

I can’t believe some people actually do finish a book a day. I need to know how they got that superpower!

Love these superpowers. Being able to have the review write itself would be amazing! I can usually think of what I want to say but have a hard time putting it down into words.

I feel like I would soooo abuse these powers. xD I definitely feel the book review one. Can we make this a thing. Pretty please?! I also would need the “not go broke” power in conjunction with the never-ending bookshelf just to make it work. Because if there’s no constraints, I will buy all the books. Great list, Dini!

Defeat the mood reading virus? Yes, please! I feel like I spent so much time trying to find the right book that coincides with my mood. I hate when you are excited about a book, but you just know instantly, you’re not going to be able to enjoy it just yet.

I would love my thoughts to immediately write themselves into reviews. I have opinions and then don’t write them down and then my reviews never happen!

Ooooh, the ability to immediately think of a review upon finishing reading and have it post itself is a great one! I want that, too. 😉
