Hello friends, it’s been a hot minute since I did a Birthstone Book Covers post but today I finally mustered up some energy to take a picture of some books off my physical shelves! Now without further ado, let’s get to it!

The Rules
- Mention the creator (Leslie @ Books Are The New Black ) and link back to me so I can see your post!
- Pick 5+ book covers that match the current month’s Birthstone.
- HAVE FUN!
- Nominate people if you want!

January’s birthstone is the Garnet. It’s a beautiful bold red colour and I wasn’t sure that I had many books with that colour on my shelf but I do!

My stack of Garnet-y spines

Fragile Threads of Power by V.E. Schwab
The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber
Midnight’s Children by Salman Rushdie
The Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith
Killers of A Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn
The Sunlit Man by Brandon Sanderson

I just realised that in all the time I’ve been doing this monthly meme, I haven’t done one for January once! How can it be skipped!? 😂 Anyway, do you have lots of covers/spines in the bright shade of garnet on your shelves?

I’m so glad you were able to find some!! I totally used the spines on mine. It makes it a bit easier to stack and take a photo anyways!!
