Following the reading challenge’s success in 2023, the Choose Your Own Adventure: Year in Aeldia 2024 Reading Challenge is back! This reading challenge is part of the annual Magical Readathon hosted by the supremely talented G @Book Roast. I don’t know (m)any challenges but this is one I do each year without fail. If you don’t know what I’m talking about or want to learn ore about choosing your own adventure, check out the explainer video below:
After looking at all the path options this year, I’ve decided to go for the one that will lead me to inebriated shopping and owning a giant dwarven decorative statue. Now let’s check out the bookish options that’ll get me there! 😂

OMG! Thanks for posting this because I’m going to figure this out right now. I totally forgot about it last year after Finn as born. I didn’t even participate in August and I was so bummed!! I’m just going to think that last year was mostly a wash. lol.

Ngl, I kinda spaced on this from mid-year in 2023 with all the stress 😂 I’m defo thinking along the same lines as you about last year, lol. Let’s do buddy reads for whichever ones are on your list and you feel like doing too?

Haha! Yeah, probably bc we were trying to buddy read them last year. Then I went and had a baby, to disappear off the face of the blogging world. haha. Okay, I picked some books quickly but there’s a lot of wiggle room. I have like 4-5 prompts that are different than you but we ended up with the same ending. HAH!

Haha, that’s alright. I pretty much dropped off too cos of all the work stress, anxiety, etc. etc. It wasn’t fun times 😮💨 Ooh! I can’t wait to see your post for this to see how you get to the same ending with different prompts 😍 I hope we both slay this year!

Yeah, I don’t think 2023 was the best year for us, reading/blogging wise. I do hope that this year is much better for both of us. I hope that work is better for you too- or you can find something else that will make you happier! ❤
